I returned the trailer to an empty parking lot - no one there except the homeless people sleeping under/behind a box trailer. â€œThey told me that no one was here and they were closed. I was somewhat undecided what to do - just leave the trailer there? After pondering a bit , I called the number on the contract. They told me someone was coming. They came and ran the homeless people off. We finished the paperwork and then informed me I was late in returning the rental and was imposed a late fee. Obviously not what I expected. They told me they had nothing to do with this and to call U-Haul. I had rented the trailer to close out my business- due to Covid repercussions. During my trip the back tire blew out. We were stuck for about an hour off the road. The service recovery was excellent. Made for a long trip but thankfully uneventful. If you were to ask me about U-Haul performance, I would grade you well, however, I waited over an hour to get my trailer at the pickup (understaffed and busy), then had a flat, then dealt with the return experience- then to be told I was penalized for being an hour late. Maybe you should reverse my $26 late fee?? Thanks for asking!.michael L.

Location for pickup changed after i drove 1200 miles so then i got to drive all over to find new location after showing up where it was originally suppose to be located. Not good in a location I've never been and in a hurry. Yet no discounts were offered or anything said...Christopher M.

My experience with this location was great. I had to extend the truck for one day which required me to communicate with the corporate customer service . That has been a nightmare. A $51.55 hold was placed on my card on March 9th and nobody wants to help me get the money freed up. The bank points their finger at U-Haul and vise versa. When I asked the U-Haul rep to stop speaking to me in a demeaning manner, she only got louder. When I asked to speak with a manager, she simply ended the call. I would deal with local businesses like this one w/o the toll free customer service, as my experiences were rude encounters with zero solutions.Daniel J.

It was very disappointing to not be at a real Uhaul place as this location could not help with the hitch, electrical plug and did not have any moving supplies. I made my reservation 2 weeks in advance to be at the Nevada location and that request was not honored. Frustrating!!Bobbi K.
Manger was very nice. He allowed me the option of cleaning up the vehicle cabin myself, instead of charging me a clean-out fee. I appreciate that. the location is a bit unusual the way it is set up. The signage on the north side of the street is good. however the lot on the south side of the street has very little markings and no u-haul equipment. So my suggestion would be a lighted sign on the south side.john H.

There was no room to drop of equipment due to the general public parking poorly in an already tight parking lot. After 45 minutes or so, I was able to drop the trailer in an acceptable spot, but only with great difficulty.Max P.

I got a text after my rental directing me to turn the truck into another location. As my car was at the location I rented from that was not possible. On local moves, people may not be able to turn in elsewhere.bill B.
The truck ran poorly and barely made it to North Carolina room Colorado. The power steering went out and the truck constantly misfired and backfired. It also got well below the advertised gas mileage. This truck should not have been rented out for a long distant rental. I have made a request for a reimbursement and filed a complaint, but no one has gotten back to me. I will be posting negative comments on social media in the near future is not contacted.Sharon G.

I really appreciate this man allowing us to drop a trailer off at this location. We drove it from Alabama. We were supposed to drop it off at 104 W Cucharras St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 but we called and no one answered. We waited until around 10 a.m. and no one ever showed. I guess they decided to close for the day without warning. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.Carole B.

The gentleman that helped me were fantastic. Many of my uhaul experiences have come with cranky, grumpy customer service reps. In fact, overall I would rate Uhauls customer service as extremely poor. It's as if you guys forget that customers pay your bills and buy your CEO his multiple cars and houses. Not this location. Very kind, patient, thorough. Love it.Jarod G.
COSTS ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU WILL EXPECT (BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN CHARGES) - Although I gave my exact destination address at checkout, and I selected a drop off location, the mileage allowed for the trip was less than the actual miles needed to get to my destination and return the vehicle to the return destination. The extra cost associated with going over the allowed mileage was an unwelcome and I think unfair added expense that should have been included in the allowed mileage and charges upfront.chris C.
Complete crap trying to park a 20ft truck in a alley parking lot that's located behind a bunch of bars etc... Impossible to park the truck when the parking lot is full of cars never again will I rent from U-Haul ...marjorie R.
