The clerk was very friendly, yet professional. When I pointed out that the van wasn't really cleaned, he just smiled and shrugged. There was a HUGE coffee spill/stain on the dashboard, and that smell permeated throughout the van. I am NOT a fan of coffee so this was a tough ride. The heat knobs were quite sticky. The storage spaces on the dashboard were so dusty that they had a visible hand print. There was sand throughout both front floor mats. The van needs a total detailing! Easy pick up and drop off. You should put a note when using the online drop off to NOT use a decimal in the mileage as it doesn't appear and the over $11,000 bill was quite the surprise. A quick call to customer service fixed that. Although the drop area was isolated, it was well lit.Lori S.

I was supposed to pick up my equipment at 9 AM. I was dropped off and waited by myself in the cold rain until 945 for an Omega employee to show up. They did not apologize, however the UHaul representative that I called offered me a full refund. He has not reached out or answered my phone calls or text messages regarding this refund. It was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional and I will never recommend this location to anyone again. Please contact me with regards to how I can go about getting this refund. Thank you. The uhaul website was very misleading. I was under the assumption I was picking up from a uhaul facility.(it was not) I also thought I would be able to drop my uhaul up at a different location than I received it due to the layout of the website . Since I had to return my vehicle to the same location I picked it up at, I added a lot of unnecessary miles. Also, the place where I received the truck had an incredibly incompetent worker. When I called the uhaul in rockville center to tell them my issue, they were uninterested and rude. Overal, I am very disappointed with my uhaul experience.Joseph N.

Agent charged me 2 times for unwanted insurance. Complaint Ref.#1679053. My order # 80132220 was pre-filled out electronically as suggested without insurance. However, agent placed insurance on vehicle any way. Your local supervisor Adam originally was accommodating and promised a refund on 2/5/18. He stated it takes 3 days to show in my account. He also said he would send me a confirmation on the refund. He blamed me and my bank for not getting the refund. He blamed every one but himself. He was quite combative and NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. He is not a good example for U Haul. He needs to learn his trade better. Needless to say it is now 6 days later and no refund or confirmation of it. Nor has Adam responded to why no refund or confirmation of the same. Would you use U Haul again, I wouldn't. Dr. Plotnick.Steven P.

Opened a full HOUR late. I SHOWED UP AT 8:45am, reservation was for 9:00am, posted hours showed opening at 9:00am, employee did not show up to unlock the door until 10:05am, with a long king of angry customers. This location also did not have the furniture pads I had reserved. Further, the employee and management did'nt care and was unapologetic. If you can avoid this location, go to a different dealer.Kenneth B.

Pickup was for 9:00am. Person showed up at 9:15, claiming the scheduled person called in sick. Instead of apologizing, he was rude and started telling us no appointments should ever be scheduled at 9:00 am.....then take that time slot off the website! Customer service determines your businesses success....next time we'll drive the extra 10 minutes to Rockville Centre where they treat their customers like royalty!!!Katherine G.

The reservation was confirmed 2x and was wrong when we got there. The person at the desk had no clue what to do and it took 45 minutes to get the truck. This location opens at 9:00 and I was told not to come before 9:30 as the person usually didn't get in till then. This location was not even remotely close to where I live and I saw other locations opened earlier. The person at the desk didn't even know what copy of the agreement to give to us. His complete ignorance of the system caused a 45 minute delay which cut into my moving time. NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. COMPLETE BUFFOONERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Robert G.

The manager, bigger lady, literally is the rudest person I have ever met in my entire life! She charged us for an extra day of the uhal truck FOR NO REASON. we called right away to complain and Danny another man working their said "oh no not again and immediately gave us the money back" She is horrible. They need to improve their customer service! The person who answers their telephone is rude and uses profanity to the public. He yells at customers to get his way, and he will charge your credit card with charges that are unauthorized. I have filled complaints with u haul and am-ex against this location.DENNIS F.

The process of reserving a truck seemed easy enough until the night before when they called to change all my rental details (different size truck, pickup location and time). The problem was they called 730pm on a Friday night and then closed at 8pm. Long story short we went to bed not knowing if we had a truck the next morning for our move. The next morning we woke up and called the traffic division to find out they changed to the smallest truck they had. Overall, terrible customer service and a headache. I wouldn't use uhaul again. The guy who worked at the pickup place even seemed to strongly dislike working with them.Amanda R.

I'm a woman and I'm always on guard to possible ripoffs , price gouging, attitude etc. but he was fantastic!! Explained everything. Found me a discount, etc! Would never use this location - a dump. Truck's AC was poor - works for a short time then none. I am thinking of not using UHaul again but since this is the first time this happened - will forgo. The owner of the store didn't show up to open the store until and hour and a half after our appointment and showed up with a subway sandwich in his hand.
