Absolutely the worst experience ever. On top of the ramp completely falling out of the truck. Took me over 45 mins to get the truck making me late to my clients house. Shop guy who helped me couldn't be bothered. Will never rent here again.Paige N.

I reserved several items for this move, including moving pads and a dolly. NONE of these items were available for me when I picked up the truck. This was extremely inconvenient and resulted in excess costs and time for me. I'm very disappointed with U-Haul.Jack C.
The location was fine and the truck was clean (except the windshield not been cleaned and had a lot of smeared, dead bugs on it). The attendant at the gas station where the vehicle was located was friendly but kept being interrupted and serving other customers. So the checkout took longer than it should have. Also, no effort was made to go over the vehicle, and the dozen blankets that we had ordered were not in the truck. We have not received a refund on that yet.Calvin L.

U-Haul is by far the best and most convenient way to move. Moving Sucks and U-Haul almost makes it tolerable. I have done 5 moves in the last 4 months. All with U-Haul. 4 different states, 5 different properties, 5 different U-Haul locations, 2 kids, 2 colleges, 2 apartments and 1 house. I have used trucks, I have used trailers and I have had zero problems.Charles H.

Despite only driving 26 miles and putting $10 in gas back into the truck, the owner at Orono Station in Long Lake, MN still charged me a gas sit charge of $12.50. When I approached the owner with my receipt for the truck and gas she insisted I was wrong and refused to take the charge off. NEVER RENT THERE AGAIN.Greg P.

Attempted to drop off in-person, but the woman at the counter was unable to accept. Appeared to be an issue with the app she was using. I called support and had a 30-minute hold. In that time, I was able to go through the self-guided online return process. Online return was easy, but the overall process with the location was confusing and unhelpful.Blake F.

There was a floor panel that was not attached. Several times our feet went through it. Luckily no one was injured. Also- why do we pay by the mile and pay for gas??? If charging 79 cents a mile, that is paying for the gas. Kind of a gouging tactic. Last complaint- I booked truck in Rockford. The site allowed this. Then.I get email saying I need to pick it up in Long Lake. To pick it up and return it now, I am in the hole for about 26 miles to get and return it. Site should be more truthful.Rod S.
I ordered a 10 ft. truck, which was confirmed on my reservation paperwork, but the departure rental location had my reservation as a 21 ft truck (and no 10 ft. truck on the property). They let me have the 21 ft. for the same price as the 10 ft. With gas prices where they are, a 21 ft. truck cost me a lot more money to drive than a 10 ft. would have. Please have the correct equipment available for the customer, especially at these prices!Robert B.
Items from the last renter were still in the truck,(I left them there when I dropped it off), disgustingly dirty, u-haul blankets were scattered around, dolley was rolling around, cab had dirt, paper garbage and spilled drinks. Dealer refused to come out and look at the condition with me. I cleaned it all up plus washed the exterior. To close the driver's door it took both hands slamming it with the window open. Once closed it would pop open when I hit a bump. I took it home and lubed the latch which cured the popping open. Both doors still require a two hand slam with the windows open. When I returned it I said I wanted someone to walk around and verify the condition. He said it wasn't necessary and had me take a picture of the mileage. He then took a picture of the picture on my phone with his tablet when I got back in the store...and said that's all he needed. The invoice I got said I dropped it off a day later than I really did. They said they corrected it. We'll see. This company fits right in with what's happening in much the nation with lack of good customer service. I hope to never need to use a U-haul truck again.Bill F.
It needs better sign/information on location because of the many businesses in the building it's hard to know who to talk to. Rather than telling me to come to the gas station and drop off the truck they told me to go online and sign out which I did not have the ability to do. It caused a lot of confusion.Karleen S.

Way over priced for mileage for in town use. With having to use your own gas and drive 15 miles in a different direction to pick up that mileage adds up.Michael R.

We did have an issue- the truck came with a padlock still attached to the back door. Staff were helpful and able to remove, but this could have been a much larger concern if we hadn't noticed immediately.Kelsey M.

The pick up process did not go well. I was set up for 24/7 pickup and it did not work. Spent an hour and a half on hold or being transferred 24/7 never answered the phone only got an answer when I pressed placing an order option and then they couldn't do anything except schedule it for the next morning at 10 which delayed the entire move.KAREN D.

I attempted to call customer service multiple times to change my drop off location with no success. There is no option online to change the drop off location after a reservation has been made. This in turn caused me to pay more than I had intended. I am very disappointed and will never rent from Uhaul again or recommend them to anyone.Chi O.
