you drop off your keys with a cashier - when we asked him to clarify that we are turning it in today and a confirmation it was turned in - he really couldn't tell us anything other then he will give the keys to his boss. it wasn't until we got an email receipt that we knew what they had to say about turn in time and truck condition.WILLIAM E.

fuel gauge was a little sketchy, it didn't move after a bit while i was filling up. Ended up filling entire tank up even though I didn't use that much.Derick W.

When I was called to confirm my reservation the woman was quite rude telling me that I had to pick one up in a completely different town when I told her that pana had the trailer that I reserved and she argued with me saying they didn't have one when I was there 10 minutes before. I went to the pana store and some different lady was nice and professional and I explained again that they had one and she said the trailer was not checked in and I went with the store owner and checked it in and picked it up the next day and I will rent from them againTerry T.

Owner of the franchise was professional and the customer service was outstanding. Keep up the good work. My only complaint (minor) was that I had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes but on a nice spring weekend, that is sort of expected as it is good moving weather.Joseph T.

Not allow pick up until after 9 am. took a while because they were by themselves and they had to check out people at the same time.MICHAEL E.
On our way to Shelbyville from Joliet, where we got the truck, we got pulled over not once but twice, because the tail lights, rear turn signals and box markers were not working. Now I get that most of these vehicles are not inspected regularly, and we didn't notice when we picked up because it was light out. Not to mention the truck had 12,000 miles on it and the guy at the pick up place said it was brand new! We got to our destination and I tried to find somewhere near us that had the same size truck so we could go exchange it and no one with in 40 miles had one and we weren't driving any farther to exchange. We turned the truck in after having it for less than 24 hours and were told we aren't getting any money back! Listen I understand if I decided we didn't need it for the 2 days, but we did. And we had to drive back home 3 hours to borrow a friends truck to finish what we were doing! We lost 6 hours of work time and I think the least you can do is give us some money back! I emailed the guy that was on the first survey email we got on Saturday and still no response! This isn't right!!Rachel F.

U-haul website is very helpful with many details. Customer can input info, dates, easily locate rentals, & view pricing online. Tim @ Save-a-lots U-haul in Pana, IL had my rental item(#41 tow dolly). He was extremely knowledgeable & a joy to work with. I highly recommend him. Thanks TimEric B.

UHaul: Put a backup camera on those trucks. It would make it a lot easier to see what's being backed up to. And a better ride so it's not so uncomfortable.Jan B.

We had to drive 50 miles to pick up the truck. Good customer service would have been to have the truck brought to the location or even the city from which the customers rent. It was a huge inconvenience.James B.

I would encourage Uhaul to call the customer a little earlier in advance to let them know they couldn't get a tow dolly in their preferred location rather than the day before. It was an inconvenience. However I am thankful for the customer service at the pick up location.Kristina H.
Eric made the return process very easy and quick. He also called me a few minutes after I dropped off my truck to let me know that I had left my sunglasses in the truck. They were expensive sunglasses, and I appreciate him letting me know I had left them!Adam S.
