I called in to confirm the place to take the truck back. The person I spoke to ask me for an address that I provided. I went to drop it off and the place had on drop off box. I called again to find out it was a completely different location. I was outraged at this point, ask for a manager and was told I would be transferred. I had a reservation 3 weeks ago and was called at 7:00pm the night before indicating there was no truck at the location and they would move my reservation to another location. After calling the next morning (because they were not open at 7pm) I was told that they did not actually have the truck in yet. So I was left scrambling trying to find my own truck the day of the move. Also I was told there would be a phone call indicating when the truck would arrive and I never received that call. Overall terrible customer service. Asked for a call back instead of on hold and when I was called back no one was there. Then had to wait 20 min on two separate occasions. I will not be using u haul again.Adam B.

Make sure you notify customers they need to use your app to check in equipmentâ€¦..then make sure the app works at this location. When I tried to sue the app it couldn't find my location even after I set precise location on my iPhone. I went a 1/4 mile up the road and the app worked but because I wasn't at the return locationâ€¦.it wouldn't allow me to do anything.gary M.

The rep that checked me in was great. He quickly went through the process. He then took me out to the lot and guided me in backing up to the trailer. He then attached the trailer and went through all of the safety checks with me. Upon return, the same rep meet me at the check-in spot and hepled me back the trailer to the drop point. He then unhitched the trailer and completed the check-in process. All in all it was the best experience I have had with U-Haul. I will definitely use this location for any moving or transport needs I have.Hugh V.

I checked in through the mobile app and upon checking in I turn the vehicle on and the tire pressure lights are on and a service light is on. I proceeded to try to go inside the building to see if someone can help me which a gentleman responded with those light don't really mean anything. He then calls someone out front to assist me because I stress I don't want to get stuck on the highway. Another gentleman then comes out looks at the lights and says I should be fine. I then tell this guy again I do not want to get stuck please check the tires. He proceeds to go around and kick each tire and says they are fine and starts to walk away. I also asked for a dolly which was not in the truck.Pamela M.

Trailer hitch installation was a nightmare. The Woodbridge team was so disorganized. I would never get the hitch, I had to acquire it and install it myself. The I had to travel a distance several towns over some 35 miles to acquire the trailer. No fault of the pickup point, but again I fault the Woodbridge team. I have no plans of using u-haul for a very long time. I have mixed feelings, but I cannot recommend the service.Steven G.

I called the location I wanted to pick up the uhaul from, they told me they were too busy and to go on the website and do the reservation myself and hung up on me. Whatever, so I go online and reserve the 15' truck because that is the only thing they have available. A few hours later it's time to pick up, I get there and there is indeed a 10' and a 15' I check in through the uhaul website and everything on my reservation says 15' but the pictures and all information is for the 10' truck there. Not only is the 15' truck more expensive and I am not fully getting what I paid for but what if something happens to one of those trucks and they have them mixed up?? Who is responsible since they don't seem to have a clue which truck is which.Jessica M.
Was charged for insurance $14 that I did not request or approve I notified the representative and I have not heard back from them in regards to the insurance for the truck that it defaults to cancel that when I completed the reservationLidia N.

They didn't put the furniture pads and dolly in the truck as ordered. When I called to ask them about it he said he didn't know it was on the order. He also said he only had 2 dozen furniture pads instead of the 4 I ordered. I told him I didn't need the dolly at that time. We had to go an extra 30 min and 30 min back to get the furniture pads. We tried to refute the charges but you still charged us for all 4 dozen pads and the dolly. So, no I am not happy with this experience.Andrew F.

right headlight out. They promised to come to our home and replace headlight. We waited half a day and then they finally called to let us know that they could not send someone to fix the light. The uhaul location and was not originally chosen by us. The larger one near our moving location was arranged weeks before it was needed. The truck and supplies were chosen and reserved for our moving day. A couple of days prior to the set date we received a phone call that the truck could not be picked up at the close location and we were required to go to another location. This caused numerous deficits that were not identified when uhaul made this change. The deficits were traveling a good 20 minutes one way extra, first truck's transmission had a sloppy transmission shifter problem, a hand truck that was not rented was in the box ox this truck smashing and banging around that had to be secured shortly after leaving the UHAUL location, pick up materials that were purchased for the move from original location, and No real compensation for these disadvantages other than extra miles given due to new required location. The location and service was friendly and professional but that first truck had a real problem that could have caused an accident if not identified by the person renting. All the deficits added 3 hours on our prep time. I will be needing a rental moving truck for an over 1,000 mile move and really questioning why use UHAUL.Julie P.

Improve app. Terrible experience getting into online check. Asked for 2 alternate contacts but Virginia only requires 1. Took over 45 minutes to retrieve code for lockbox. Employee walking by so us sitting in the lot and came over to help. Still required contact with call center. Made us go through same information completed online earlier in the day. Suggest just having customer talk to call center for final check out if online form completed. Not pilot or phone error. Links should take you right to completed form, upload verification and done.Roger M.

The windshield wipers were dry rotted and unusable. It was pouring rain driving back to Roanoke and had to pull over for two hours to be safe since wipers could not be used properly. Took unnecessary time and money out of my pocket to use this uhaul.Megan W.
