Everything was quick and easy. I think the only thing for me would be to ask if I need anything in the truck explained to me because I did have to look up a couple things. Like by default the tow/haul was on every time I started it up. There is not cruise control, and only certain straps can look through to strap down the stuff in the back. But overall it was a great and easy experience. When I need to rent again I will definitely be going back to use UHaul.
justin hI drove 6.7 miles and was charged $30.00 for fuel, that’s some pretty poor gas mileage.

Kristine Mthis was our first experience with UHAUL . The customer service was EXCELLENT at the Ace Hardware store there in Williamsburg Va on Monticello . However, the trailer itself was A VERY NOISY BUMPY PULL at speeds under 40 mph and over 45 mph . I believe the tires were not balanced properly , but I am not sure .

What I had booked and what was confirmed the day before and the location the day before change two hours before my pick up time. Unacceptable. Piss poor way to run a business. Shame on you. No one ever called me back to ensure my issues were handled. I should be refund fully for the mess this created.

Roger SWhen we returned the trailer, the agent said the balance was $0. But when I got home and checked my credit card account, the $50 certificate was not applied. We were charged the full amount. We called UHaul about the discrepancy but have not had satisfaction concerning this issue yet.

Timothy PIssue was that I reserved a hand truck dolly with the trailer. The location I picked the trailer up from did not have the hand truck. This type of service is typical to your company. I have reserved other things from U-Haul at a specific location and have had to travel to another location because the item was not where I reserved it. What is the sense of having a reservation when U-Haul can’t keep the reservation?
John FTried the mobile pick up. The gps setting was way off. Had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with tech support to pick up the truck. The tech was very friendly and helpful but this was a huge inconvenience.

Mike BDave at Ace Hardware went above and beyond to take care of us after Ironbound Storage, our original drop off site, refused to accept our truck because we had a tow dolly. Dave called customer service for us and eventually accepted the truck and dolly himself even though they had very little space. Really amazing customer service

Diane had made a PERFECT mark, stress-free, hassle free and a BREEZE to get a reservation to renting the truck definitely will be back and RECOMMENDING FOR OTHERS. it a breeze for moving into my new home! I know moving is stressful but u-haul made it 1000x less stressful and difficult! Will be back again!

Next time I will try to do the self pickup to avoid the keys, tools, packing supplies and boxes customer line. They are overwhelmed at this desk

GREG KEvery time I need help with home care or general repairs I head to ACE. Uhaul rentals are a bonus. The people who work there want to help with anything you can imagine and their rental service was just as great. I also love that I can grab UHAUL boxes on my way through town running errands. Awesome location.
criztina JThese guys are always helpful for home care and basic home needs. Uhaul rentals are just an added bonus. Down to earth and great people work at this location. We drove a little out of the way to get our truck there knowing we would get the best fit for our needs. We rented a cargo van earlier in the month and they were great for that one too.

David BFirst off I had to pickup the truck at a secondary location other than what was agreed upon(adding mileage and time to my trip). Second, I was first denied the truck because (as it said on their paperwork) I had a friend or an associate that owed them money I could not get a truck until their debt was paid. So I had to pay it to get the truck. I spoke to three different people from their corporate office and kept getting transferred. I am not a debt collector so I should not have to be collecting other people's debts. That has nothing to do with me. After I paid his debt I was sent an email with a "receipt" that only had my name and amount I paid for his debit. No where on the email did it show his name, his account number or any information that shows his debt was paid. So he could still be charged. Third i was contacted by uhaul load share to pick up a trailer for uhaul along my route, which was located in Chantilly, VA. Just outside Washington DC. at 6pm the same day I picked up the truck. Anyone familiar with the area knows being on the beltway you normally sit in traffic for at least two and a half hours no matter the day of the week or time of day. After the headache of getting the truck which I started the process of the pickup at 930 am I didn't pull out of the lot until 1130am. There was no way I was going to pick up the trailer in time. I still had to drive to where I had to load my belongings and load the truck. I had to cancel the pickup. So I am out the $475 for picking up the trailer and $143 for someone else's debt. I will never use uhaul again.

Val SThe policy should be to return the vehicle with a full tank. Estimating how much I used during a short trip surely results in me putting in more gas due to not wanting to get penalized for not adding enough. Give the van with a full tank and ask for a full tank back.
