The local U-Haul was just fine. What I couldn't understand was the emails I received from the national office. I got four thanking me for my reservation, then another apologizing for the error and saying that no one with my name had made a reservation. Go figure.

truck needed to be serviced check engine light came on and the front rotors were warped so when you braked the stearing wheel shook.

I put gas in the truck and it was half full just as it was when I picked it up. Salesperson was busy and told me to leave the keys and he would check it later. I was charged 12.00 for gas. I offered him my receipt for gas but he said he didn't need it. Not good practice to add something once customer is departed.

Fix the gas gauge in this truck. I drove 26 miles and had to add 6 gallons of gas to get back to the starting point on the gauge

The issue was not the drop off location’s problem. They could not get my correct rental contract records for about an hour until everything finally worked for them.

We had a little issue because we were dropping the truck at this location, but the trailer (attached to the truck) was going to another location. Since both items were on one invoice, the person helping us had to contact UHaul to get another contract #. She was really helpful and courteous.
