The app didn't work at all for me, even after I contacted customer service. Thankfully the folks at Ace were able to get my reservation working for me. The staff at Ace were absolutely amazing - helpful, friendly, a pleasure to deal with. I am, however, extremely unimpressed with the U-Haul app.

I was very un happy with this drop off and will not use them again. The store was very nice but the uhall represented was not rude but gave us a hard time as to why they gave us a truck with a lot of miles on it she said it should not have been used for a one way travel. Well that’s not our fault I don’t work for uhall and don’t know your specific rules. She held us up harping on this issue. We also returned the truck with exactly what we where told to put in it for gas and it was off 1/16, not sure why we put in what the gauge recommended. She also commented on the oldness and scratches on the truck, again all these were reviewed before we took the truck in the first place. We will rent again from zingy but I will not be returning at that ace hardware.

The truck was an older vehicle with almost 100k miles. It was fine for what we needed but had been through some usage in its past. It was as clean as expected for the amount of usage.

We were given a tow dolly with dry rotted tires. This caused one of the tires to fall apart on the hwy causing my truck to lose control. I was so scared. We very slowly drove to nearest Walmart hoping that the tire wouldn’t explode. The car technician then told us that both tires were dry rotted and the same thing would happen to the other tire if it wasn’t replaced. We had called road side assistance after the fact. We had already lost time our priority was to get it fixed as soon as possible. This could have caused a terrible accident.

This Ace Store that i rented from has an excellent staff but the U-Haul process to rent equipment is very time consuming. The staff were knowledgeable with every step of the process but the process required them to wait for computer screens to load, walk outside to verify items, come back inside and complete the transaction. It was a constant back and forth and this is a small part of thier overall business as a store. U-Haul needs to streamline this process and in doing so verify it's timelines by standing on the customer side of the counter and not in a corporate cubicle making the determination that "the process works". I feel bad for every Ace employee who has to work on Sundays when the U-Haul business is at its peak. It's ironic that a broken process would be found inside of a store full of things meant to fix that which is broken.

The truck I rented was jerking crazy -no matter waht speed I was driving - it made the ride and driving the truck very uncomfortable - My stomach was a mess and of the rental with all the shaking. I did let the rental place know when I drove it around the building and was told zit should not do this since it is a fairly new truck. the experince of this drive was not good at all.

have the u-haul call center reservationist prompt customers ALL options that needs to be determined at time of pickup, i.e. do you desire option to add 1 of 2 types insurance and/or also notify customer cost per mile ( $0.89) … these weren't told/ask when making reservations...sure would had helped so I could informed others what to expect when making U-haul reservations/rental... work

The cargo van I used worked well, was clean, etc. However, it is extremely difficult for the driver to see behind the vehicle due to the metal shield behind the seat. It has cutout holes in it that blocks about 50% of the view from the rearview mirror. This is a safety hazard. Furthermore, the sideview mirrors on the van I rented were fixed. For tall drivers like me, it was a nuisance trying to see behind me thru those mirrors. That needs to be corrected.

Tell the true prices. I was told the price was $19.99 but when I got the bill it was $79.99. I understand I went over the miles but NO ONE told me what would happen if I went over the miles. I was not expecting a bill over $100.
