I wouldn’t have a location at a rap studio where the guy is so blunted he releases a truck with someone’s private lock on it that no one knows the password for. Also, probably not try to charge the customer for a bunch of charges after finally getting a truck after three hours that didn’t have a lock on it. And that was really dirty, had garbage under the seats, and with a quarter tank of gas!

Cynthia WriceI was given a vehicle with almost no gas in it, so I immediately had to put gas in it. When it started raining, I turned on my windshield wipers and they malfunctioned, with the passenger windshield wiper literally falling off the windshield wiper arm and the driver side wiper didn't even touch the windshield, so it was a dangerous situation driving in the rain. Hopefully this vehicle will go through a thorough inspection before it is rented again. I do feel bad for the manager of the location, as it is in a high theft area and he has trouble keeping his vehicles in shape.

When I returned the car I left more gas but I was still billed for it. Also I was charged cleaning fee aldo I cleaned the dirt that was already in the car.

The store "front" was not only sketchy, but the worker wasn't there when we arrived. I called and he was on his way. The truck gas tank was empty, so we had to put gas in it just to use it. Poor doesn't describe the overall experience. It was a total gong show -

John CarswellTruck reservation was scheduled for 8am, but location did not open until 11am. Came back at 11am and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up and get me vehicle key. I also reserved an appliance dolly, but none were on site. Online check in/return was more complicated than anticipated, but after I got going it went ok.

Selam GerekidanThis isn't related to the location but the overall customer service with UHaul. I reserve approximately 26 trucks a year, several months in advance every time. Recently I am moved to locations way past my requested location. I'll drive past 3-4 other large stores and smaller dealers, sometimes 10 miles past my requested location for a 20 ft truck. There is no way every one of those other 20 ft trucks on the lots were reserved before me. It's ridiculous that I'm paying to drive so far for pick up and drop off, I shouldn't have to pay for that. This past Thursday I had a 20 foot rented for a 6 PM pick up 12 miles from my house. I drive all the way there during rush hour and I'm not able to pick up my truck. So I have to drive all the way home with my angry kids in the car all for nothing, and go back again the next day. I have the truck reserved at my closer location many months ago. I'm very angry. What a waste of my time and money.

I would really say It's a design flaw of the latching system of the vehicle itself. There is not enough room really, to put a decent lock on the back latching door.
