I originally had the drop off in Oliver but they were full so sent me to Penticton which is 42 KM out of my way and then I got charged for being over KM's on my contract. Drop off in Penticton was disorganized and I had to wait as UHaul is not their primary business. However once they got to me they handled everything very professionally

RAY LStaff were quite helpful and accommodating. Site is a mechanic shop and at the end of a cul-du-sac which makes it easy to turn around but there isn’t any actual parking. Staff were well above average. The site wasn’t great.

AMADEUS HMy pick up location was only open 9am to 10am on Saturday. I had to drive 12 hours to get to my pick up location which is where I was picking up the items I needed to transport. I've never seen a location open for an hour on a weekend which is when people want to move and rent equipment. Very odd in a medium sized city.

BRIAN KWhile the dealer was easy to deal with and helpful, the overall experience of renting from Uhaul was again VERY disappointing. We reserved a 20' truck but the day before we were to pick it up were told there wasn't a truck within a 300k radius. They offered a 15' instead. When I mentioned this wouldn't fit our stuff, they offered a 4x8' trailer and were going to give it to me for same price as 20' truck. To me, this didn't seem like enough space for our stuff so I asked for 6x12' trailer. I got the trailer but was charged an extra $250 - NOT IMPRESSED. I was also NOT prepared for towing a trailer and specifically wanted a truck only as my wife was going to drive the truck; was already nervous about driving a truck and had never towed anything in her life. Bottom line is: While the dealers are good to deal with, customers can't rely on Uhaul to get what they reserve. Should be a law against this false advertising

Gerald TMy problem was not with the dealership but with the representatives who called me beforehand and advised me there would not be the 26 ft moving vehicle I required in Osoyoos. Instead they told me to pick up the unit in Penticton and they would waive the mileage charges from Penticton to Osoyoos and back. When I got to Penticton the representative there told me he is unable to waive those charges. After getting to Osoyoos with the unit I spoke with the representative in Osoyoos who told me they had a unit my size available. I wasted my time and money because these folks that called me to finalize the reservation were not able to get me the rental I needed where I needed and gave me false information about waiving the mileage charges.
LOUIS FPoor customer services, the cab of the truck was disgusting and filthy. The price for klms is absolutely ridiculous. I will not rent or recommend renting from this location ever again
