Went very smoothly, trailer was all ready for my pickup. Gentleman was very knowledgeable and that made for a seamless transaction. I had an issue with my wire connector, but that didn’t phase the employee. He just went back inside and got a different wire harness. Problem solved. When I returned the trailer the same gentleman came out and unhooked everything and pushed the trailer back on their lot. Again smooth and easy for me. 5 plus stars
Gordon TI booked a 10 ft truck several days before my move from Penticton to Castlegar. A few days after my booking I got a text from Uhaul saying that a family in Trail (drop off for me) was in need of a car dolly and enquired if I could bring it back. I spoke to an agent and said Yes as I have a small car I needed to get back to Castlegar. I said it was a VW beetle. On my drive to Penticton on Sept 29th I got a call from UHaul about my rental truck. They said they did not have a 10 ft truck until the 1st of Oct. I said that I was in a vehicle with 3 friends and we thought we were loading up a truck on the Wednesday the 30th. This agent explained to me that when you book online it says that an agent will contact you the day before to let you know if they have what you want available. I said how can you actually make plans if you do not find out until the day before when you are likely on the road already. So we lost a day of loading up the truck. Day of picking up the truck, My gf and I walked into Penticton Brake and Wheel. We were ignored for a brief time. No hello. nothing. Then it was "what are you here for".. I said a 10 ft truck. This person named Kevin did the paperwork. Never looked at us. Was still sitting sideways to us and looking at his computer . He never looked at me, just put the papers on the counter from his sitting position. The truck was parked on the street. He handed me the keys. but walked with me to the truck. Said turn this off each time you turn the truck on. Turn it back on if you feel you are riding the brakes. Then he walked away. We came back the next day to pick up the car dolly to take back to Trail. I drove my VW there to put on the car dolly. We walked in the door and once again Kevin did not even look at us. He said "Its going to be a bit" I went outside. My gf said " Is you car real wheel drive?" I went back in. Kevin was eating a sandwich. Did not look at me. I said " Can my VW Bug not be towed on a car dolly? He said "no" I said well I am confused because the woman I talked to knew I wanted to tow my car and be bringing this car dolly to Trail.. He said well " I do not even know why you agreed to do this."I said could you please notify Uhaul that I will not be bringing back the car dolly. He said he would. He did not.

STEVE SThe guy never seems to be happy. The equipment I rented was in disrepair. I have complained about it in the past to deaf ears, apparently. I did not feel safe with RT7348 C ope ramp trailer, license: 9676TRL bouncing around all over the highway.

The location was fine but as it past closing time and we were not sure where to park the truck as there was limited space. It was after closing but a staff member was just leaving so we were able to hand him the keys and confirm where to park the truck which was helpful after a long trip.

jimmy tPick up location excellent. However, unable to deliver car trailer to any location in Maple Ridge. Was even told to try Port Moody, with no luck and they transferred me to Manitoba!!!! The only help I received was from Darcy at U Haul Pitt Meadows. Had it not been for Darcy I would have had a car trailer attached to 20’ van forever!! Maple Ridge U Haul, all three locations were unable to accept a car trailer. They were absolutely zero help! Hats off to Darcy in Pitt Meadows. He saved the day and should receive excellent recognition!
