Back up camera
RYAN WThe person who connected the trailer to my vehicle had no idea what he was doing. He put a hole in my bumper when attaching the trailer, and when I asked if there was insurance to deal with it he said it was my fault that it happened. I have a call into head office as a result and am waiting for a return call. Unbelievable experience.

CYNTHIA BTrailer was not well maintained the door was heavy to open, the lights not working properly. The attendant was misinformed and confrontational and refused to take ownership of the issues. Will not recommend to anyone this location.
MICHAEL SCondition of trailer wasn't totally clean, but it was an open style. But it performed well and staff performed their due diligence in both check in and return. check-in was easy and fast.

MATTHEW HThis location was fine. The problems we had prior were unacceptable. We basically had to threaten legal action to get the required and confirmed truck we requested. Emily assisted us but why should a customer have to go through the stress and frustration we went through.

GEORGE SWe were unsure of how much fuel we would need so we filled the truck with gas. The truck had only 1/8 of a tank of gas at pick up. When we returned the truck it was still 3/4 full of gas and they refused to reimburse us of over $130 of gas. Very unethical.

LYLE RU-Haul booking and appointments are a joke and serve only UHaul. They either lie or are ignorant of their truck location. Explanation available but I doubt you care.

GRANT HThe location was amazing, the personel at the pickup location was fantastic. What I'm not impressed with is uhauls business model and poor business practices. I will be waiting for someone to contact me to find a resolution to our terrible uhaul experience. Again, this has NOTHING to do with pickup and drop off location. They were wonderful .

MICHAEL PI reserved my trailer 6 days prior to the day I needed it. My pickup location was changed the day before pick up from Maple Ridge which is 5 minutes from my home to Yarrow which is 1.5 hours from my home. The round trip to pick up the trailer took 3.5 hours and cost me $20 for fuel. I called and spoke with an agent and they made arrangements for me to pickup the trailer the day before I needed it which helped tremendously. The agent at the Yarrow location (Kelly), was very pleasant and helpful. His customer service was great!

Stephen OTruck required $250 of gasoline upon pickup. 2 out of the 3 dolly's wheels were in very poor condition. I ended up needing to purchase my own dolly to complete the move in time
Gordon KWe booked 3 weeks in advance and then a day before we were canceled. Nightmare as we needed for wedding set up. I had to find alternative as their "alternative" was 90 minutes away (one way)....NEVER recommend. Still awaiting 50 guarantee credit

Daniel JTrailer was very heavy, difficult for one person to lift it to connect to the tow vehicle. Would have been great to have some help. Drove in rain, the trailer leaked, both front/top corners, and door didn't seal properly in the back. Poor quality.

Directed to put trailer in a spot where the front end of my truck sunk in the dirt and I was just barely able to extract it in time before damage occurred. Trailer had stuff in it when we picked it up. Had to wait for attendant as only had one staff member in a busy store and U-Haul seemed to ge last on the list of priorities.
Roland WShould mention that the gas station staff can help with drop off process. Would be easier. Customer care wasn’t aware of this.

Jeff JI arrived at the drop off location that doubled as a gas station. To my surprise, the fuel pumps were dug out of the ground. They haven’t pumped gas there for months nor will they for a long time! That was not communicated me. I obviously planned to top up the truck there. The fuel needle was literally 1/16th of a tank lower than when I picked it up and the next functional gas station would have added an hour round trip to my plans. The attendant is wanting to charge me $65 in fuel fees for 1/16th of a tank. That works out to nearly $9/L. On top of that he said he needed to charge a $35 fee for cleaning. The truck was dirty due to the previous lot being a mud pit as reported in the above review. When I told him that he said, “there was also a coffee cup inside”. So he wanted to charge me $35 to clean up a Starbucks coffee cup. That lazy explore who is clearly ripping ppl off should be fired. I’ve never had a customer service experience bad enough to want to take a job away from someone, but that was ridiculous!! Unless these charges are removed I will be copy/pasting this story on every social media post and make it a personal mission of mine for you guys to loss thousands of dollars in business.
Jason FI don't know if this is a UHAUL or local site problem. When I picked the vehicle up I was given a vehicle with a check engine light. I went in to complain and ask for a new vehicle and was originally told to call the help line. After 90 minutes mostly on hold and talking to the Alberta service center 3 times who would always transfer me to the BC service center but then Alberta service center picked up again. I did, finally, get the BC service center who quickly transferred me to road side assistance. This didn't apply. I wanted to reject the vehicle I was given and get a new one, not deal with fixing a vehicle I was refusing to pick up. The manager at the location finally came forward and switched the vehicle I was getting to a problem free vehicle, but I didn't get a printout for the good vehicle or a printed receipt. The vehicle I ended up with was in great condition. I just wish I could have gotten it right away and avoided the 90 minutes on the phone when this should have been dealt with immediately by the staff at the location.

Robert MStaff was courteous and professional. Attendant offered to check lights on the trailer. They were able to modify the reservation for me to save money. A good option on the south side of Chilliwack.

ROLAND Dequipment -- threads on mechainism to secure hitch to ball -- could be regularly greased. Staff does not demonstrate north american standards of customer service. could be friendlier and more cooperative. For example, a staff member conistently and repeatedly waited on convenience store customers despite my being ahead of them. Staff siad I needed to wait till the dedicated U-haul employee came in (his dad?), and when the man did come in, the same (first) person ended up taking care of everything anyway.

Jerry PHad to shovel out truck fro. Snow / ice drifts. Had to tow it out of the stuck snow with person pickup. Battery keep dieing and having to jumped by passer bys.. first truck we received got stuck. Got second one and had to yard it out ourselfs as the lot owner said it was a gravel driveway and not there issue to have it plowed as they didn't want to wreck there gravel... honestly.. 0/10 would not recommend uhaul to any friends or family.. as we do have another move in the near future I think we ll find an alternative moving truck company.
Ryan RThe back of the truck would not open (so the moving truck cannot be loaded with anything, making it more useless than a smart car for moving house) and we were told it wouldn’t be replaced. Called roadside assistance to get it open and never had anyone get back to us or contact us at all. Ended up using another company even though U-Haul still charged us despite us not using their product. Go with literally any other company. U-Haul is the worst.
Adam MThere was garbage in the van from previous use, something written on the side in dirt, pine needles and dirt on the floor in the van, the service was ok the initial quote was $100 more than online but when I dropped off it did match the online quote. It was pretty easy to deal with Uhaul overall
