Make sure you have enough money to pay back customers deposits. We rented a truck paid 300 deposit. After dropping truck off, we went to get out deposit back. They wanted to give us half of it and asked if we would come back later for the rest as they didn't make any sales that day and didn't have the money to give us out refund. Then had nerve to argue with my husband about giving us our money back and saying we are not being honest or good customers. Because we didn't want to come back later for our money. This place is horrible wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Truck was in ill repair, leak in gas, was unable to put more fuel in the tank. Otherwise the car was clean, picking up the car and drop off took about half an hour each. Employee was kind but also distracted with the storefront that was attached.

Had awful experience. He wasn't there the morning we had moving. Didn't give us three dollies that we had ordered. Didn't even pick the phone at the time he was supposed to be in his shop.

I did not get the pads, dolly or additional items I booked and still got charged for them. I would like a refund. Additionally, the store owner offered no help when I was experiencing issues. I would never recommend that location or this service.

The man who facilitated the rental was rude and when I returned the vehicle he raised his voice at me for asking why the rental was so much. He told me I couldnt be a minute late or the charge was double (I was not late). When I picked up the vehicle I had signed up for express rental and it was not express because the man told me I couldn’t do that. He left me with no keys twice while he went back into his store to chat with his friends. I had to ask for my dolly rental. When I asked why I had to give him my credit card (because I had requested express and completed all of that online to save time) and that I understood the forms online to not need to fill with gas that was what the extra charges were for, he told me to “rent with HomeDepot if you don’t like it”. As a nation wide company, I would be pulling your services from this location. It’s unfortunate to have front line interactions with people like this.

Bles at this location was very friendly and the uhaul was available and clean at the reserved time. Central customer service could be improved because they didn't give the correct location than the one I reserved when I called to verify (could be explicitly stated in the confirmation email).

The location is quite seedy and not what I expected. That said, if the equipment had been ready on time, was clean inside and out without the odour of cigarettes, I would have been satisfied. The agent was very good. The agent had a lot of things working against him. I think the neighbourhood location is a good idea. I had selected no cdw and yet got charged for it. This experience was poor, overall.

The computer took almost an hour to ?charge Thus we. Departed with the truck at 10 instead of the arranged time Also we were informed there were only seats for 2 yet there was a middle seat with a seat However the service was excellent otherwise

The vehicle was dirty inside and out and the box stunk like cat pee. The vehicle had good tires on it and did run good and got decent mileage for a big truck. I was charged extra for the insurance and was told it would be adjusted when I dropped it off and that did not happen.

OMG I don't think you can improve on awesomeness. The gentle man that helped me was incredible, polite and went out of his way to ensure I was happy. I was extremely impressed by him. Thank you and I will definetly use it again in future and will pass that location on to my friends and family.

The inside was dirty and smelled. The service was brutal . I was the only person in the store and it took 20 mins to check in .

Stop overcharging customers. Stop making your customers chase you for refunds. Show actual costs of rentals instead of doubling the posted price with fees and extra charges. I will never use Uhaul again

I picked up a Uhaul today it was my first time moving and the experience was very smooth and the guy who helped me through the process was so friendly and made it very easy. I highly recommend this location and Uhaul. Thank you for making my mom stress free and easy!! It was also very affordable !

The time and location for equipment pick up were incorrect. The agent didn't have the equipment I reserved (Appliance dolly). When I went to pay my bill, I was given an amount the was overcharging me be $40, and then they lost my invoice. I went to the location with my son and was told that they didn't know how to access it. I waited for 20 minutes until they told me they would find it eventually and I could pay it when it went to collections. Very dissatisfied and will actively discouraged others (social media, word of mouth) to avoid this location like the plague.

I had a reservation for 8am, but place doesn't open until 9am... thankfully I drove past the night before and noticed the hours posted and popped in to find out how I could get the truck by 8am, as promised on my reservation. The guy was super nice and let me take the keys then, great, right?! Hah, too good to be true. I drove the truck all the way to where my mother was moving out of a basement suite, and the tires on the truck were so bald, it couldn't get up the slightest hill (there was like an inch of fresh snow on the road)... so we would have to carry furniture and boxes for almost a block... BUT, THEN when I opened the back it was FULL of garbage, empty boxes from TV's and bags full of GARBAGE, so I had to drive around to find a dumpster to get rid of this (remember you pay like 0.89/ km...), oh and did I mention that the front tire was almost flat? Yeah had to go pump that up as well. So I wasted 90 mins of my 4 hour move window messing with the truck and didn't get the move done, we got 1 load done and didn't have time to get the rest, so had to drive back and forth with our SUV to finish the move all afternoon!! So when I went to return the truck, the guy wasn't even there to check it in, so I told the girl working that I had some issues and she basically called the owner and handed me the phone. I tried to explain what happened and about the garbage and he talked over me, yelling at me that I was a liar, and that it wasn't his problem and to call UHAUL and that because he gave me the keys early, I OWED him the task of cleaning and maintaining his truck. I called UHAUL to complain and I got a nice women on the phone and she said she understood and was sorry, but she told me "Lisa" would call me back and back this right, and well, no one ever did. All I really expected was to not have to pay for the mileage to clean out and maintain a truck that should have been ready to go at 8am like a reserved. Or at the very least some resemblance of an apology, but I guess that was too much to ask. So I get the bill finally, and even though the actual move was 8km total (we picked this location because it was only a couple blocks away), they charged me for more than 20km AND when i filled it up it was $22 (you have to return it full....) so $22 for 8km???? I would avoid this location like the plaque, seems like a nice guy until you call him out, and then they treat you like dirt. I gave UHAUL the last 24 hours to contact me and make it right, and they never bothered. Their $50 reservation guarantee is a farce, as the truck won't be ready, clean nor "full".

Contract # 97214699, picked up dirty truck with a little bit less than 1/2 of fuel. Return with exactly the same amount. The guy started to argue and underestimate the fuel level. I got an extra charge with $16.26. Would like to get it back! Can provide pictures.

my original reservation was to pick up at 8:30 am , there was no equipment attached and no key available until store owner arrived at 9:20 am. The inside of box was wet and not swept out.

I personally had a very bad experience today and was no compensated at all. Initially we were on our way with the uhaul and noticed there was a flat tire so we needed to pull over and fill air which took over an hour. It was only at 38psi. We spent money doing that and adding kilometres. I called uhaul and let them know that it did have a flat tire and there was 0% oil and they said they would reimbursement for the troubles. I went back to return the uhaul and asked to pay by my business debit which I asked before hand when making the reservation that I would be able to pay by debit but reserve it on my personal credit card. The owner wouldn't take debit because he got charged on his machine. He asked me for cash instead and as a business I wasn't able to do that for expense reasons. Next things he was so rude to me because I asked if I could called uhaul and figure this out. My name is Shawn dhalla and I'd like an email back to resolve this matter. Felt very disrespected and wasted my time fixing a vehicle that wasn't properly maintained. I'm not one to every complain but this was so poorly handled. My email is : shawndhalla@gmail.com

I arrived early to make sure I would get my rental at 9:30am due to the short time frame I was under. The store was supposed to open at 9am but they didn't until 9:30am. Two other people (who were double booked for the same truck) were there before me so I didn't get my rental until 10am. Their customer service was below average & it was not explained what they needed when I brought it back to the location. I will not rent from this location again.

The gentleman at this location did not speak english. We ordered a dolly and they insisted it was a blanket - he didn't know what a dolly was. DID NOT know how to handle any paperwork and sent us looking for our own dolly in their storage to which we opted out due to time constraints. I usually rent from Barlow but this location was closer to our event - will never rent from this location again.

I reserved the truck thru the on-line process and also asked to rent a wheeled dolly for the day for $7. When I picked up the truck there was no dolly and I still got charged the $7 as the attendant could not make an adjustment to my invoice. I want my money back please
