Unfortunately, this location has convinced me to NEVER use UHAUL again. The "manager" was a young Indian male--his attitude was brusque, unhelpful and with no intention of providing more than minimal service. He REFUSED to provide disconnect service for the trailer-- forcing this 65 year old with a bad back and no idea how to do so to unlock and unchain the trailer on my own--I've NEVER BEEN TREATED SO SHABBILY BY ANY BUSINESS. I called the 800 number for assistance-- and after a 35 minute wait on hold with no answer-- I finally did remove the trailer from our vehicle on my own-- covering me in GREASE, Straining my back and requiring a visit to my physician-- all while this 20 something who was supposed to be providing this service watched from his shop window. I ruined my health, stained my shirt with grease-- and almost lost a finger in the trailer latching mechanism-- all because this IDIOT chose to not provide the services contracted for. I later got a call from a regional manager--because, clearly concerned about our complaints, he had called to quote "return my deposit" . I refused to discuss anything with the manager other than this spoiled brats lousy behavior-- and then hung up when he started to say that it would be ok. Its not ok-- as the BBB and the State of Tennessee AG Fraud office has been notified this weekend. I have used U Haul many many times without issue--but this falls under a quote from my grandpa-- "it takes decades to build a reputation, and seconds to destroy it" -- I will NEVER DARKEN UHAULS DOORS AGAIN-- and would have contested my credit charge but for the exceptional service by the team in NC where we got the trailer--who would have been harmed financially.Sheila S.

No customer service very rude was told at pick up site that if I was dropping off during business hours employee would unhook trailer but employee rudely stated no that cost 20 dollars more just to loosen bolt unhook light cable and lift off of hitch.Joseph V.

The owner of the store was completely rude. I had an issue with a previous rental and the uhaul rep josh was awesome and helped me schedule a new pickup location at pineville market. Originally I was supposed to have picked up at Jnb small engine repair on Saturday but I received a call from josh to go ahead and pick up Friday since they were closed on Saturday and there would be no extra charge because it was an error on their end. I couldn't find the location and when I did the small engine repair place was already closed at 5 when advertised they opened until 6. I called uhaul to tell them this problem and a lady rudely told me there was nothing they could do and I was just out of luck that it was too late to get another rental. After trying to call the owner of the small engine repair several times, finding his personal cell number from another local business and calling it with no answer, I called uhaul back and thankfully josh answered and made me a reservation to pickup at pineville market. We determined I'd go ahead and go down that evening and pick up just to be sure I'd get it. Josh informed me that if I picked up Friday night I would be able to keep it until Sunday afternoon like I originally had reserved. Upon arrival at pineville market, the rude owner told me I was too late to pick up my rental that I was supposed to have been there at 6:15 to pick up. I told him no, that's when the reservation was made. I asked him if I could still go ahead and get the uhaul and he said if I took it then (now 8pm friday) that it would have to be returned Saturday at 8pm. I informed him that that wouldn't work for me because I needed it until Sunday at 12. He then told me that if I wasn't there at 8:30 am Saturday that he would rent it to someone else. Seeing that I had no other option, I came in and got it. Packed and unpacked and returned the uhaul at 5am in which they didn't have a key drop off box and had to come back in 3 hours later and return the keys. Exhausted because it was only me and my 15 year old daughter doing all the packing and unpacking. He called me at 8:15M Sunday morning asked me where his keys were and I told him I was on my way. He was completely rude and very unprofessional. I went 4 miles over the initial 20 miles I booked it for and he charged me $20 extra dollars. If the first place would have been true to their word and been open, then I wouldn't have went over the mileage. But at that point only having 3 hours of sleep I was too exhausted to argue the fact and he wouldn't have listened anyways. This was the worst experience I have ever had with moving. I have never been talked to the way he talked to me and the lady I spoke with at uhaul was so careless and rude it discourages me from ever using uhaul again. Oh and not to mention, when I rode by jnb small engine repair Saturday morning their gates were open and they were open for business!!! If it wasn't for josh at uhaul I would have been straight out of luck and I genuinely appreciate him for helping me out. My suggestion is to audit your pick up locations. Confirm their hours of operation and update the website so this doesn't happen again. I strongly encourage you to not do business with pineville market, they are rude, pushy, and a rip off. And they use their dollies to haul around food and products in their store. Needless to say I will not purchase anything at pineville market and if I ever have to use uhaul again I will be very cautious about the pick up locations.April B.
Truck was absolutely filthy dirty. Had to clean it out and sweep the back out ourselves before we could load it. Noticed the tires were bald on the back of truck. Place didn't seem to care about the customer or the service they were providing.thomas B.

I requested a 20' truck a week early at a location 1 mile from my home. I was given a pickup location 15 miles from my home then charge extra for additional mileage. Lady at this location spoke broken English. Communication was difficult.George S.

Uhaul associate was 45 minutes late..didn't have the equipment on hand that was reserved (two dollies), and couldn't get the online portal to work until calling for help. Pickup was scheduled for 8am for a 12x6 trailer, and I didn't leave with the trailer until almost 10am...Dale S.

They didn't have any idea what they were doing. It took an extra 35 minutes to get going because the person working had to call someone else in, and he still didn't know what was going on. And we were never supplied a dolly so we paid extra for equipment we didn't receive.Brandy S.
