This location was great to work with and the equipment functioned as expected. My complaint is with the reservation system. I initially reserved a trailer at a location 1 mile from my house and it was changed--twice--to a location 20 miles away. I only knew of the second change because I called UHaul to fix an error in the reservation dates. So I had to drive 80 miles total (plus spend over two hours of my time) to pick up and return the trailer instead of having the convenience of getting the equipment locally as I originally reserved.Jared M.

This was a wonderful experience. With how peticular the website was to reserve a car trailer online, I thought this would be a pain in the neck in the store. I was delightfully mistaken. Thanks to checking in on the line it was decently quick from talking to the uhaul guy to hooking the trailer up. He even helped and did most of the hook up and was genuinely a nice guy. These guys saved me when the rental place in Archbold ohio failed me. Reserved a rental called to check on it three days early and they STILL didn't have it when promised. Pioneer hasd the rental I needed and I was out in under a half hour. Will be my go to place from now on.Bruce G.

We were told by the original renter that we had an "undetermined" destination, so we could return the trailer at any Uhaul. We were on our way to one such location, when we received a call from the Bremerton Uhaul. The guy wanted to know when we were bringing it back, he stated we had to bring it back to that location. We were over half an hour away at the time. I called back after speaking to my SO and a very agitated, rude lady answered. She spoke over me, and told me "there was no way the renter told you that because we dont do that". She refused to listen to me and then on top of it, tried to sell me storage. We ended up, ONCE AGAIN, driving way out of our way to appease U haul. Oh the way there, I did speak with a customer service rep (like the 4th time here) whose name was Ebony and she was very kind and helpful. When we returned the trailer, the staff were nice in person. Overall, this experience has made us very hesitant to ever deal with Uhaul again as it was more hassle than it was worth and the comapny, while having some very nice employees, seems disorganized. It makes an already stressful moving experience way more stressful.clint K.
Please improve your software to help your dealers get us out the door faster. THE RENTAL PERSONNEL DO AN EXCELLENT JOB, but they always have problems with the software "locking up" when completing the rental contract.jim L.

This was the second time I rented a 5 x 9 open trailer. It took only 15 minutes from the moment I walked into the store until I was hitched up and driving out the driveway. I will definitely continue to use Pioneer Auto Center in the future.jim L.
Change all of the negative signs (with "No" or "Not") in to positive statements. Example: change "Uhal does not accept checks" to "Uhal accepts credit cards and cash only." Much more friendly. U haul States if you bring the truck back under the the gas line it charges you 4.00$ a gal however uhaul will not apply a fuel credit if the vehicle was over filled there's a two tier system that only benefits uhaul and uhaul won't permit it's customers a credit or payback for overage on fuel expense this is intolerable to me as I followed their rules in other words tough luck what's theirs is theirs and what's yours is theirs it's not fair I'm not a rich man I should have been reimbursed the extra fuel I put in the vehicle I will not be using U-Haul again I will use Ryder truck. Pioneer Auto Center was excellent. What I do not understand is why, after reserving the trailer six months in advance, I had to drive 30 miles one-way to pick up the trailer instead of at the requested location 4 miles from home. The trailer was in good shape except one of the tie-down straps was worn half away. It would have been OK for my car, but if my car were higher or had bigger tires, the worn section may have been exposed. If dimensions of the deck were given online, I missed them. Instead of a solid deck, the trailer had two runners. The open space between the runners was almost the same as the distance between my tires. For safety, I did not use this trailer.William B.

Unlike my pickup experience, I did not receive a confirmation call on my drop off. When I picked up the uhaul, I understood the date it was due back, but I didn't see a return time. I called the day of drop off to get more information on when and where to drop it off, and I was met with a abrasive employee. I was bluntly told that I was late. The trailer was due at 1030am (and I called to find out the return time around 2pm). I returned the trailer just before 4pm. I ended up having to pay for another day due to the late return. I am disappointed with my experience at this location because there were no efforts made to ensure I find the drop off location at the proper time. At very least, I would expect a call stating that I was past my return time. But nothing happened to help prevent this. I feel as if they were "rooting" for me to be late so they can line their pockets with late fees. They spoke down to me and seemingly snickered about my mistake. Whether this is how they treat everyone or just how they treat female customers is very disappointing. I will not recommend anyone to this business especially any of my female family or friends. If I ever need uhaul again, I will drive an hour in the opposite direction away from this place to find an honest uhaul rep.Megan D.

The customer service was great. He was very informative about the use of the truck. The only thing that bothered me was the interior, ( radio area and the steering wheel and the door area was dirty, like something was splattered. I cleaned it with a clean wet towel and boy did that make a difference. Just a suggestion, you should have a pack of 2 or 3 large handiwipes for the new person renting to use before driving off. I had asked for a 20 ft. truck, it was not available - they signed me up for a 15 ft. truck. I shared my concerns about wanting to only do 1 trip and the size. The person on the phone shared that it would be adequate space for a 10x15 storage unit. I spoke later to a person regarding cost estimates (one way versus two way) and selected. Due to the smaller truck, I ended up having to do 2 trips (which increased gas and mileage cost).. and when I called to see if I could switch to a one way drop (due to time and help), I was told no, because it was scheduled to go to someone else that day. The staff was very helpful, kind, and friendly. But what was planned to be $150 rental turned into an almost $250 rental... which is having an impact on the rest of my move in budget.april P.

The person there was very helpful. He looked at the bill and said that we were charged correctly, the trailer was 103.00, and 20.00 a day extra. I was charged 164.00 total. So everything was ok. So the end was great.Nancy A.
