To please make sure the previous user that uses a U-Haul truck fills the gas tank to full as for example mine. It seems like the previous user DID NOT leave the tank full with gas as it should be after use. But other than that I've had good experience with U-HaulEnrique M.

Owners were very helpful and informative. Only issue was having to travel further to get a trailer. Not the owners fault, it was a U-haul flaw. If U-haul changes your pickup location at the last minute, they should discount your rental.DAVID B.

I was given a location to pick up the truck 35 miles away from where I needed, I spoke with the vendor where I picked it up and they advised me to call 1800gouhaul so I did and after 3and half hours of being on hold and being connected to people that said they couldn't help me I was charged for the pick up and return miles . I also returned the truck 4 hours early and the vendor said I would receive a rebate but I didn't. So for literally using the truck for one day of a local move it cost me $305 dollars which is ridiculous.DWAYNE L.

The location itself was good however, we initially reserved a 20ft truck at a location that was closer to our home. Very disappointed that your reservation department changed our pick up location to a place that was slightly over an hour from our house. I wasn't notified of the change until 6:30pm via TEXT not a phone call. We were busy preparing for our move and did not read it until 9:00pm. We were on hold to inquire why the change in location, time of pickup and size truck was made. At the time of the initial reservation I selected a location indicating the truck was guaranteed. We were on hold waiting to speak with a customer service representative for over an hour, disconnected and then on hold again for another hour, to be told there was nothing that they could do. Your reservation representative on Saturday morning explained reason for change and gave us credit to make situation right. We appreciated that, but again the communication of the change was extremely poor. We should have been contacted by a representative instead of a text message that we saw less then 24hrs before our planned pick up.GREGORY R.

My reservation was for a location close to my home, but was changed 24 hrs before pick was due because of inventory issues. The Pocono Boat House was 30 minutes away, and the shop opened @ 9 am rather than 8 am as we had planned for in Tannersville. Though ultimately the service was fine, our plans were delayed by 2 hours. Apparently inventory issues are common, but no one warned us of the possible problems.Katherine B.

The engine check light was on. It was clean. The rate for mileage was way too high plus I had to return it back to this location. This caused the the total charge to be very expensive and this was completely inconvenient.DOROTHY A.

I was disappointed not with pocono lake but because i booked Uhaul on december 17th so i can use december 27 in tobyhanna.However, the day before my pickup date i received a email that theres no truck at that location, go to tannersville. So on the 27th i went to there and when i got there the truck i needed couldnt be found. Friends were at our house waiting to help us move so we could be on our way. Unfortunately Tannersville sent us to pocono lake. Pocono lake gave us the truck promptly. It was Just disturbing all we have to go through.James S.

The location was excellent. I rented a 6X12 flatbed to move a UTV. Trailer was big enough but design of trailer had two plated welded to rear. I could not load the UTV as the wheel base was wider than opening of the two plates. Due to design of trailer the rental was a total waste of time and money.allan S.

It was 40 miles from my house and completely different than the confirmed pick up location when I scheduled my pick up online. Additionally, NO ONE CLEANED THE TRUCK...ANYWHERE. In this era of Covid, that should have been done. It was dirty, there was garbage in the cab, used face coverings, and the back was filled with wood chips and saw dust. The people inside were annoyed when I asked them to clean it. I ended up wiping the cab down myself with wipes. That back was eventually swept out by a young employee.Jessica R.
