We had to remove the snow off the truck with our bare hands! Then it got stuck in the snow while trying to get it out and we asked for help but nobody came out to help us, and the truck was sliding sideways as we kept trying! Finally a passerby stopped and helped us push it out. The u-haul guys were too busy fixing cars to help us out. Awful service 😞JOHN O.

I was never once told on the app when checking in that I need to put fuel back in the uhaul. Also when I went to check out it said I was never checked in so I had to wait 45 min to get everything resolved and I got charged twicealexandria D.

Location was 34 miles from my local Westerly, RI Uhaul location. The website stated that a truck was available closer to Westerly, but when I called to confirm, there was no truck.Roger G.

When we arrived, the guy was in the office, so rather than check in online, we had him help us. He had already put the key in the black box the night before, and the combination wouldn't work, so he couldn't get the key out. We waited and waited, he got on the phone and tried to get help, but nothing could be done, so he wound up getting permission to give us a different truck. He was very nice, and it wasn't his fault, but it was a very frustrating experience and took a lot of extra time on an already stressful day. The truck we got didn't have a utility cart in it, which I had rented, so we took one from another truck. The manager was going to go to the location later in the day to see why the combination wasn't working. I would like to receive at least a partial credit for this unfortunate inconvenience.Tracey Z.

I gave my overall experience a "Poor" rating because of a dispute over the mileage charges on the U-Haul I rented. This rating is subject to change depending on the resolution of this issue. I drove the U-Haul to two locations while it was in my possession, totaling 28 miles. I also drove it from the U-Haul facility, to my home, and back. This was approximately 24 miles. The overall mileage I put on this U-Haul was approximately 52 miles. I put $20 worth of gas in the tank on my was to drop it off to get the tank back from 1/2 full to 3/4 full per my contract. Upon receiving my bill, I saw that I had been charged for 272.8 miles, resulting in a bill of $416.44. This is not even close to the actual mileage I put on the vehicle. Clearly, there was a mistake with the original mileage at the time I rented the vehicle. I have spoken to the person that rented me the U-Haul, Elise in customer service, as well as Tom, the area manager. They have all been professional and courteous, but my issue still has not been resolved as of the date of this review. I am prepared to pursue this matter as far as I need to in order to get it properly resolved.megan M.

Hard to identify. Expected a clearly marked uhaul fascility but it was just a random auto shop. Uhaul sign not visible from the road. Very confusing.Jonathan V.
The staff did not inspect the condition and cleanliness of the truck prior to renting it to me. This occurred on the last occasion when I collected a UHaul in New Jersey and it was an extremely nice detail. As it was, I did not examine the interior of the truck until we arrived at our storage facility. The back of the truck was absolutely filthy. Fortunately, I was able to borrow a broom and other cleaning supplies from the storage management with which to clean the truck myself. This cut into valuable time but was vital if we were to avoid our belongings and furniture being soiled in the truck.Chris M.

I reserved a 5 x 8 trailer. The agent told me that I would receive an email regarding the location of the trailer. They assured me it would be within 20 mile radius...it was over 30 miles. Secondly, when I reserved it, they took my debit card but did not explain that this was to "hold" the reservation......I thought I had paid for it only to discover when picking up the trailer, I had to give them payment - they should explain that it only holds the reservation and payment will be due at pick up. Also, I had to look up the drop off location - I thought UHaul would have done that research for me. However, YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE SO IT WAS WORTH IT FOR SURE!Killian A.

I rented a 9' cargo van. The gentlemen who I spoke with were very helpful. The van itself though was in dire need of cleaning. The cab floor was covered in dirt, the dash was covered in dust, the cup holders were covered in crud and I found cigarette butts in them. The whole cab stank of old smoke. I would rent from them again because the location is very convenient, but I would strongly recommend a thorough cleaning of the trucks when they are returned.amy L.

Not sure how much this is to fault Post Rd vs. Uhaul corporate. 1. Discussed the 10' truck price for the 15' truck I was picking up. When I picked up, received the 15' truck price and then I had to call to get the price straightened out after we agree 2 days before what the price was. 2. Ordered 12 furniture blankets to be reserved online, when I went to pick up the truck, there were 0 blankets to get... whats the point of reserving them online when there aren't any in the store?! 3. Was told there should be 5 blankets in the truck... there was 1. 4. Had to drive back across town in my Uhaul to pick up blankets from the Quaker lane location adding mileage and eating up gas. The whole experienced has made me never want to choose Uhaul again. I'll be looking at Budget next time.Chris L.

Did not have my truck size I ordered. Cab was full of garbage and back was full of screws and glass! Gas tank was only half full not 3/4 like stated before I paid and left. Had to clean everything out before I could load and because I got the wrong size I couldn't move all my belongings so now I need to rent another truck but not from here!Stephanie O.
