I had originally been told I could drop off anywhere. Then on pickup day I was told I had to return the equipment to the same location because someone else was renting it a couple days later. Location was already 15 miles out of my way but was the only one with the equipment I needed. Neither the shop or UHaul customer service were willing to work with me to give free miles. It cost me $40 extra plus gas. This should be a UHaul logistics issue. I have rented box trucks once or twice a year for the past 6 years. Will never use UHaul again.

Got to pick up and drive a new and cleaned truck
I was scheduled to pick up a 10' truck at 4pm. I get a phone call at around 3pm, telling me that the truck is on its way. I get to the shop, the truck isn't there, and John, the store manager, tells me that he has no idea where the truck is. Not his fault, apparently, the customer just didn't return the truck at the appropriate location. From there, I was amazed by the lack of options both from store manager and Uhaul. It's nit my fault the previous customer didn't return the truck, is it? So what do I say to the 3 men moving crew sitting around my house for 2 hours as they don't have a truck to load my stuff into? Oh and by the way, I pay them 100 dollars an hour so here you go, I loosing money but hey, â€œit's not our fault the truck wasn't returnedâ€ ? Are you kidding me ? John (the store manager at the acquineck avenue location) was a very nice man, but had no idea what to do next. He closed shop (1:30 past due time for him) and told me I would receive a phone call. I did. And let me tell you. The young girl I spoke to on the phone has no clue of what was happening. She sent me to a location 30miles away!!!!! And told me it was 9 miles away. No empathy whatsoever, and lack of training. Horrible, horrible customer experience and compete lack of follow through on Uhaul part. Very, very disappointed. Will share with friends and family and give my business elsewhere. Without a doubt.
It was an easy location to pick up the uhaul from. Once we got the truck to my house to load it up, we realized the back was full of seashells. We had to spend time cleaning that out before we could load it.
On both ends of the delivery the local UHaul operators were great. Our problems were with the 1-877 # we called. In two conversations it appeared that our order for set up for delivery. As the box wasn't delivered on the date scheduled, we called back only to be told our box was never scheduled for delivery and no one knew how this happened. I filed a complaint and was told someone would call back in 24 hours. That was over 2 days ago and I am still waiting for a call.
Had some paperwork problems and was $30.00 more than quoted, but it made 1,100 miles without a problem.

We rented three trucks and there was confusion as to where trucks were to be returned. There should be more communication.
Diversified Mobile Services, Inc is an excellent U-Haul rental location. I can't think of anything that I can suggest for improvement at this time.

I was happy with the U-Box itself. U-Haul employees where not helpful, at times, rude, stupid and condescending. If I can help it, I will never us U-Haul ever again. I will tell anyone who will listen...NEVER USE U_HAUL FOR ANYTHING!

I am waiting for a credit of $68.00 for being overcharged on the fuel!!!! Tank was 1/4 full when we picked it up and we returned it with a 1/4 tank so why was I charged $24.00 ($4.00 x 6 gal) plus $30.00???? I want my credit !!!!!
When I wanted to pick up the trailer I could only make it around 4:45 pm and I was told that the person who needed to fill out the paper work was only there till 4:00pm but was told the business was open till 5:00. So which meant I had to back track to uhaul the next morning and get a later start Than i wanted to. Poor customer service. If you advertise open till 5 than your open till 5. Correct.
Have U-Haul correct the phone number on their website 401-372-2637 belongs to an angry man who keeps receiving uhaul calls. Divesified Mobile Services needs their correct phone number on the U Haul website so the customer can reach them more easily and not have to deal with the angry man first. Pick-up was very slow-this may improve as the dealer learns the system better with more practice.
