I am not sure what could be done to make this experience any better than it was. The facility was awesome, everything went as planned. From easy pickup to drop off was perfect! Thank You for being there when our family needed you.

This also was not my intended destination. The clerk at the Temecula location advised I could drop the truck off by 1227 the following day. She did not mention my preferred destination did not allow after hours drop offs. We got to Oceanside uhaul to find the gates were locked and had to again call customer service to be redirected to an open location across town. Both the pickup and drop off process were horrible. The staff at the postal annex were great.

Mobile check in didn’t work. Mobile checkout didn’t work. Both were clunky experiences that took way too much time and I had to go in to the store both times to talk to someone.

Everyone was very helpful. The representative helping me out added insurance without asking me if I wanted it. When she gave me the bill she just told me what I was being charged for which included the insurance. I didn’t know it was an option. So I paid for something I didn’t need. That was the only issue I had.

Bed of truck had an old gas tank left in it. And a water bottle left in the cab. Worst part was being told I could not decline insurance coverage, and that it was mandatory to buy.

The contract was a one way within San Diego County. The gas was reflected on contract as 1/4 but actual was 1/8. There was receipts and old contract inside the vehicle. The mileage given was not reasonable meaning you would need to factor in return to drop off point with refueling stop on this type of contract, not hit the customer with extra charge for going 7 miles over a given 54 miles per the contract. Which was determined by going straight from the rental center to the destination you were going to.

The only problem was the passenger side mirror. It doesn’t hold position. An alan-wrench will do it.

The timing you are charged for begins when you pick up the truck. Even though I had set up an account, provided my driver's license at the time I reserved online the clerk at the location, then I had to go outside and load the app onto my phone. It loads very slowly!!!!! Then I had to photograph all of the scratches and dents on the truck. I assumed the gas level the clerk told me was on the truck was correct, so after I photographed the truck and verified the milage, I hit complete. Then I realized the tank had only a quarter tank of gas in it, not the amount listed on the paper work so I got stuck paying for extra gas. Returning the truck was a similar night mare. It was cold, and dark in a sketching parking lot, and I had to run around and photograph the dang truck again. HORRIBLE. never again.

Eliminate the need for repeating the data entry (for information I entered ahead of time when I did the Online Check-In before leaving my house to pick up the vehicle). The service person had to ask for several items that I entered. Why the redundancy? Otherwise it was a very easy process and I was impressed with the excellent condition of the vehicles available at the site.

Everything was great, good truck, availability, location. But I knew it, they overcharged me for gas. I already filled it with gas :'( And charged me for gas. They also are too busy as a UPS store to adquately checkout U-Haul customers and inspect rentals. They inspect later, and not with Uhaul customer there. Therefore enabling them to over charge customers :'( On google reviews it already said this location is ripping people off !

The kid with the Afro is amazing at what he does. Complete professional and execute his service quick. Always make me feel welcome when utilizing the Oceanside Blvd Location. I’ve been using that location for the past three years so it has been a great experience. His customer service is beyond reproach. I ll work with that brother anytime.

Air conditioner damper controls not working - ould not change from floor vents to mid lever vents or to defroster vents. Could not adjust driver seat - would not slide forward, stuck in back position. App was non functional at return - had to call corporate number to return truck.

This location seems pretty good, other than It's not noticeable from Oceanside Blvd. I only knew it was there by seeing trucks as I went thru parking lot on my way to get fast food. I chose this u haul due to having plenty of parking to leave my car. I have used the N Santa Fe location before, but parking is limited.

I called to confirm my order earlier in the day and when I arrived the dolly I needed wasn’t available. The staff member that checked me in wasn’t the best listener and kept pushing another dolly on me that i stated wouldn’t work. His customer service was mediocre, he kept answering phones while working with me, and didn’t give me any information about the truck. He was busy, which I get, but the customer service was subpar. The manager working with him wasn’t great at explaining my order either. They both seemed overwhelmed.

They gave me wrong information. They said it's 1/4 of gas but when I drive it, it was completely out of gas. I had to pay 25 more for gas to refill it which they didn't accept and irrespectfully answered me. I won't recommend and use you anymore. My worst experience for truck rental.

I've used uhaul many times and this place is the worst. The rental truck was filthy, and not cleaned after the previous use. It smelled like cigarettes and there were ashes everywhere. The back if the truck was not sweeped out and had trash and other items from the previous renters. To improve for the next renters, clean out the rental trucks and double check the mileage and gas levels. I have pictures of everything if uhaul customer service would like to verify my claims.

This is for UHaul equipment, the tires are typically worn/beat up and the ride is backbreaking because of the front suspension. UHaul needs to do the maintenance on these trucks? This is nowhere near a smooth ride. Plus they need to upgrade their interiors, USB ports to audio? Charging port?
