DEBRA AI was sent here because the facility closed early where I was supposed to pick up. The service at this location was poor at best. He stated he sent me a text giving me instructions for renting the van. I guess it was too much to expect him to stay open to the advertised time. I would refer anyone I know not to rent from this location.

BRIDGETTE KI was charged for an additional 43 miles driven. There is no way I drove that. I drove from the pick up location to the gas station across the street(because I was given the truck with the fuel level empty) to my home less than a mile away. Then I drove 70 miles to my end destination and after the truck was unloaded I drove the mile and a half to the drop off spot. So I might have driven an extra mile or two, but the odometer was not properly tracked and because I didn’t check it before I left the pick up location I was charged an extra $43.
JENETTE RI found it very odd that this facility forced me to bring the blankets into the office instead of leaving them neatly folded in the truck. The u-haul app did not work well for me at all. OCR of the dashboard never worked and I was unable to complete the online checkout.

RENEE BThe truck was filthy dirty inside and out and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in over a year. It smelled like someone chain smoked a carton or two in there as well. I cleaned the inside and outside of the windshield and the mirrors just so I could see out of it. The driver's side mirror is loose so it bounces and slowly creeps out of position. The engine/transmission also made the types of noises that told me they haven't seen maintenance in a loooong time. The people at the location were friendly and fast but if the condition of this vehicle is typical, I'd go elsewhere.
STEPHEN CMake it easier for the customer to receive the refunds and explain the refunds better than what is shown. I had a rental for 2995 truck. And then on the truck they did not have the right mileage or something anyways it wind up causing me $86 for the trip that was being $100 being without from my bank but not only that., they did not have the refund coming toward me headed to that then so there's a lot of work to do with this particular U-Haul station it's mail USPS store and it's supposed to annex so therefore we could not do it the job and get it done correctly thank you.

STEPHANIE PScheduled for pick up was hard. I couldn’t get hold of anyone for scheduled pick up at 8:00 am. I called customer support and waited for over an hour for return call. I had to re no scheduled my pick up time at 10. The truck dash board displays tires gate falling functional. I had to stop and checked the air on all the tires.

Gregory NThe vehicle was discussing , very dirty I couldn’t hardly look out the windows and the mirrors were very dirty also had a hard time looking through them. The cab looked liked it had never been cleaned properly it had sticky stuff all over it. All in all it was not good.

ARNOLD MI had originally booked a location closer to my home but at the last minute, they changed my pickup location to Oceanside which cost me additional drive mile dollars.

Kevin IThe computer system was very glitchy. Had difficulty on my phone and in the store to get reservation to take. Then, couldn't verify license plate on truck so had to call customer service which was very helpful. Took longer to get the reservation complete than it should have but overall, was ok.
Deborah AThe location itself was okay, but the UHaul mobile app for drop-off is TERRIBLE. The camera functionality is horrendous and kept hanging. I'm still not completely sure if it ever completed, after spending over 20 minutes trying to return the vehicle using the app.
Clayton STruck was very dirty on the inside in the cargo area. It looked like someone had used it to haul job site debris and mud. There were also ants on the inside of the cargo area.

Teresa JThe place was closed at 4:30pm when we tried to return. it was a huge mess as the return place changed a couple times the DAY of our Rental. then we had to take all this extra time and work to figure out what to do and then to be on hold for instructions and online applications to return the van. not happy. if Uhaul did not have the monopoly on rental we would not use Uhaul again but we have to. really not happy. not worth $203 we tried to mark NOT APPLICABLE for Was Location Clean (we never went inside); we tried to write NA for Was person Friendly (there was No Person), would you recommend this location (We Don't Know, we never met anyone and did not get inside. SO we had to mark NO because this system would Not Let Us Mark Not Applicable. we wanted to mark Not Applicable

dale eI believed I was overcharged for my rental service. I asked to have the person at the location walk through the vehicle with me and the employee refused to do so. I then asked for a receipt and the employee refused to provide one for me. A few hours after leaving the location (without a receipt), I received a receipt and was charged for three additional days of renting the vehicle and was charged. I had originally paid the 5 days at the original location. I called the number to the manager (858)207-4746 and brought up my concerns. I was told they would call me back to address the concern but I never received a call. I went over my miles ($89 for 89 miles) and was rightfully charged extra for it; but the additional $120 dollars and $84 for coverage.
Alvin MThe windshield looked like it was cleaned with a dirty rag. I had to pull over and pickup window cleaner just to drive (evening). There was trash in in the cab and the cargo area! There was a sticky substance on the cab console. Truck was MUCH cleaner when I returned then when I picked it up.

Adam PThis also was not my intended destination. The clerk at the Temecula location advised I could drop the truck off by 1227 the following day. She did not mention my preferred destination did not allow after hours drop offs. We got to Oceanside uhaul to find the gates were locked and had to again call customer service to be redirected to an open location across town. Both the pickup and drop off process were horrible. The staff at the postal annex were great.
