Complete equipment maintenance negligence. Despite calling ahead to confirm, the location did not have the furniture dolly as requested. The doors of the truck cabin were not appropriately maintained and adjusted causing gaps between the cabin and the door. This made the cabin incredibly loud during the trip at highway speeds. Additionally, due to the gap, water entered the cabin during a storm. Finally, the front-left wheel of the auto-transport trailer completely tore off the axle while traveling on the interstate putting our lives at risk. Maintain your equipment or upgrade it if it does not meet standards for operation.

There was a problem with the U-Haul website and the owner of the business tried several times to send me an email or a text and it would not allow him to send me either. We wasted about 45 minutes. This put us behind schedule as we are event designers and we had two events that day
