While I was advised I needed to pay more for mileage, $13, I simply paid as my experiencing with picking up the truck was a nightmare. Originally, suppose to pick up rental truck in Chester, MD near my home in Queenstown, MD but ended up going to White Plains, MD to pick up truck. Traveled from White Plains, to Queenstown and then Frederick, MD - one way rental. Drop off at the 'Postal Place' in Urbana was easy and I do business with this company for postal service and printing and my experience has been very favorable. Spent 30 minutes driving around the parking lot while on hold with U-Haul customer service after a day of moving, and never found the drop box for the key. There isn't even any signage explaining their affiliation with U-Haul. Customer service ended having me drop the key off in their mail slot. U-Haul should establish some standardized requirements for their affiliate companies.Christopher W.
We reserved a truck online but that we needed for Saturday which was the only time that we can get all of our stuff out. We reserved a cheaper truck but had no choice but to take what they had left for us and we had to spend $75.. we only had to go 14 miles we should not have had to pay more than the original price that was quotedTameka G.

Ensure the opening time matches earliest pick up time at facility. I scheduled 9AM, and the facility didn't open until 10AM. Lady at center promised to work switch the pick up time to 10AM so that I return next day at 10. But couldn't.Ekpenyong E.

Dropped off after hours. It was not clear where the key needed to be dropped, there was nothing stating on the window that postal place works with U-Haul. Ended up having to drive back the following morning to turn in the key.Katharine W.
First I am informed that I have to return the truck in person during business hours or there would be an extra charge. But when I return the truck in person, I am told by the clerk it has to be self return. I could have done that without anyone being there and I would have saved me a lot of inconvenience. Suggestion: Inform the customer beforehand that the drop off location requires self check in and what's required regarding photos. Do not charge extra for after hours drop off if self drop is required.Leesa S.
The keys were not in the car at 9am, when pickup was requested. They were in the office, which opened at 10am. It took several phone calls, including one with the office attendant, in order to finally get me on the road at 10:30am.Hugh L.
Worst experience ever! I was reserved a truck at another location which did not have a truck and rescheduled two hours later to postal place at 9am. They did not open until 10am which I was stuck waiting outside due to being dropped off. I got the truck it was parked behind a giant grocery with the door unlocked and key under the seat! The key was missing/stolen and I was forced to wait another two hours to transfer vehicle ID# to my reservation. Both vehicles were filthy, Smokey, and full of dog hair. Also I had 3 movers on hold for 5 hours I had to pay for to sit and wait for me on the clock. After 6 days the field manager Kevin called and refunded and made it right. My recommendation is to always try your hardest to rent from a uhaul store not an authorized dealer. I would not recommend postal place in Urbana to anyone. Hope this helps.max G.

The gentleman there was barely trained. Contract showed full tank of gas and when we started the truck it was down over a quarter of a tank. He wanted to recharge our credit card to correct and when we said "No" he simply wrote his name on our contract, per the owner of the store, to have the receiving end call. We took a picture to show as proof. Contract time showed as 12:49. Went to drop of truck, at another location, for them not to be able to receive it (at 3:12) because the truck never showed as dispatched. Multiple phone calls from the receiving location, us (the customers), in addition to uhaul customer support and finally at 5:04 the truck was able to be checked in. Gas never corrected so we were charged an additional $14(and change) because we filled tank to what it was when we received it(per the photo taken at time of pick up) and not the full tank that should have been corrected. Spoke with the owner of this location who when he thought he was dealing with the receiving end was BEYOND RUDE & BERATING but quickly changed his demeanor once I pointed out that he was talking to the customer.Robert B.

I completed the express checkin online and when I arrived to this facility, it took 45 minutes to finally get the truck. I was the only customer. There systems were down and they didn't have the password to get into the database to check me out. I reserved a furniture dolly, but they didn't have it and instead was given a utility dolly. Paid $7 that I didn't use because it didn't help with my move of a large furniture item. Then I discovered when arriving to pick up a large storage unit that there was no ramp on the truck. The location was difficult to find. There was no signage at all ant the trucks were parked behind the store. The attendant didn't have a clue how to use the software. A dolly and blankets were added to the contract that I didn't want. After 20 minutes of him trying to remove them unsuccessfully, I agreed to pay for them. Then he told me they didn't have any blankets. So I paid for blankets that I didn't receive just to expedite the transaction. This also caused a problem on the drop off because they expected me to return blankets that I never received in the first place.John P.

I was WAY over charged and claimed I had the truck for over 4 days. When I asked for a receipt upon return I was told I would be emailed one but never did I think that I would be way overcharged!Monica M.

There was a lot of confusion about the reservation that I made online. We had to place the order again and I was at the pickup location for about an hour. The associates helping me at the location were very nice though.AMANDA E.
They do not accept trailer returns at this location. FIX THIS. I should have never been allowed to set my drop off location here. The person was nice enough to not make me take it elsewhere.Sam H.
This location does not have room to keep extra moving supplies. Uhaul was the one that contacted us about the change in location of truck pickup and assured us all the moving blankets, wrap etc would be there. They were not. The owner was apologetic enough but the person that referred us to new destination should have checked out before assuring customer all needs could be met at new pickup location. I had to stop by original pick up location to pick up the supplies. No discount or anything offered. Manager did seem concerned about change because he had truck , but I am sure that is because he was out truck expense money. NOT customer inconvenience or service concern.PATSY W.
