The whole process was easy. From checking in all the way to checking out and the final bill. No problems and the two gentlemen who helped me were very helpful and friendly! Overall a grwst experience and I would recommend this location.Seth C.

The truck was dirty outside and covered with snow. The roof had a sheet of snow on it and could have come off on interstate and hurt a driver if behind us. The Chubby uhaul employee should have cleaned this off.Wenndy G.

Between Uhaul double charging us and sending somewhere else other then where we scheduled it and the nightmare we went through at Chubbys I will NEVER use Uhaul again! Have vehicles located around the area where someone needs to pick up a vehicle. I had to drive an hour to pick this truck up and was told they were closed and I could not get the truck. Luckily I called customer service who directed me to the lock box. The vehicle should've been drove closer to where I was moving from which would have not created so much of a hassle. I had to call customer service 5 times about this one move.Broderick H.

The personnel at the drop off location didn't have knowledge or experience I believe when I needed to check the truck in. He was friendly but I needed to contact customer service and the women I spoke to was amazing and very helpful. Though I would recommend this location to a friend because of the location of the truck rental.James O.

Everything was fine with the pickup location but the reason I picked up the truck was it was the closest one to my wife apartment. I booked the truck 2 weeks in advance and they didn't inform me until the day before. I will never rent again from UHAUL. They should have told me at least 3 days before so I can look elsewhere.HECTORLUIS A.
The cab of the rental truck was dirty and had trash from previous renter on floor. Considering the current pandemic, the cab interior should have been wiped down with disinfectant to reduce infection risk. On a positive note, the rental staff were polite and helpful.SHERRY H.

Personnel could've been more helpful by stating what was required for return of truck on first visit to checkout counter. There was a shortage of parking spaces for the truck and they would not offer to park it for you, take mileage reading, or fill it with gas. Very long checkout process even though i had pre-checked out on line. Truck was pulling right and needed a wheel alignment. The associates at the store were unorganized and unready when i arrived. Trailer was not attached to truck and associate would not assist....said he didn't know how to drive.the dolly I had reserved was not in the back of the truck when I arrived home and I had to scramble at the last minute to pick one up. The Uhaul local call in people were very helpful with this thank goodness. All this delayed the start of my move by 2+ hours.Douglas T.

The staff was very nice but it was obvious he had no idea how to operate a uhaul rental. He had difficulty with the computer system (which he only had a laptop for). He was extremely busy serving other gas station customers and could not return my call. The truck was not well-maintained- filled with styrofoam, had multiple spiders and had a broken side mirror. The staff indicated that the fuel gauge was at 100% but we noticed that it was only 7/8 full. We asked him to change it but he called uhaul and told us that the fuel gauge "would not go all the way to full" and that was supposed to be normal, which we found out later at a gas station to be completely false. We paid for a dolly which was not provided to us. Honestly, I drove 1hour to get to this location (because I was told the morning of that there was no truck within a 100mi radius and apparently this was new information to uhaul even though I made a reservation three months in advance) and I was extremely disappointed. This was my worst uhaul experience and I would not recommend this location or uhaul in general to anyone.Horace Y.

I order a dolly and furniture pads but there was none at the location for pick up and the van was not well maintained with spiders and spider webs on the truck and the truck it self had bad vibration in the steering and the alinement was off bc it keep pulling to the rightsteven D.
Your online process is long and arduous. No mention of all the pictures needed to complete the rental. Took up a lot of time prior to actually driving away with the truck. Needs improvement as some things could have been completed prior to arrival.Robert S.

Keys were not in the key box. I had to wait 30 minutes for assistance. I reserved 1 dozen blankets that I didn't receive and was charged for. When I asked the attendant about it upon return he acted like he didn't know what to do. I still haven't received my $10 credit. Overall poor service. I had just used Uhaul a couple of weeks earlier from a different location and the service wasn't much better. Disappointed with Uhaul overall.ALAN F.
Rented the dolly for 3 days but I only needed it for one he said when I brought it back he told me that I still had to pay the $30. He was going to pocket the other $20 until I pushed the subject and said I'll contact u-haul CorpJohn C.
The windshield wipers were both broken and it rained making it dangerous to drive. When I checked out and told the attendant he did not seem to care. No apology or discount. When I got the truck no one came to the truck with me to show me where it was and how to manage the back pull door. Overall the site was NOT helpful. I will not rent from them again.Kathryn S.

The employees were not willing to help me, and the manager had assured me that when I returned the truck after the 5 pm closing, the Chubby's store clerk would be able to process my return fully. I then attempted to process the truck return online but could not do so because of the U-Haul app failure. I left the key and asked the clerk to be prepared to confirm that I returned at 5:59 pm. (I picked up the truck for a 4-hour use at 2:59 pm.) The manager spent twenty minutes preparing the truck rental document; thus, I was not able to obtain the truck key near 2:30 pm when I arrived for my rental appointment. Not only do I insist that my rental charges be greatly reduced but unless I obtain compensation, I will be reluctant to use the Chubby's gas/convenience facility in the future and would honestly recommend to others that they use another location in Powhatan to rent a truck. It was a frustrating experience. I am not certain that anyone at that facility actually knew how to process the rental and the truck return.Edward B.

When I went to pick up truck and trailer the guys did not have a clue what they were doing. They had to call U Haul to get help then handed me their phone to talk on to them so he could help me get checked in. The U Haul representative even asked me to show them how to do the truck and trailer inspection. I was unable to leave for an hour.Zachary K.

Charges o er $100 for gas when I tried at 2 pumps to put gas in it charged $30 more because he had to put gas in it charged $25 for cleaning when I cleaned it and we had to wait 15 min6for associate to pick up key from us. So I paid $291 for a 31$ uhaul. Very very disappoint in service never using againDavid F.
The trailer was clearly very old and rebuilt at some point. I was not at all happy with this item. Also, the mechanism/hitch to attached to my truck was so corroded that evidently it was unable to secure to my ball. After stopping along the route, i noticed it was loose and could have come apart. I had to purchase oil...and then was able to tighten the rest of the way. Shame on you for allowing this trailer to still be in service.Clint L.
When we went to drop our truck off there was nobody there they could help us and the answer was to just go pay it online so We went backup there the next day and were greeted by a rude gentleman saying that he had not had a chance to check on it and that we could wait we did not have time as we have just moved into our home and so we laughed and about a 1/2 hour later we had noticed we were charged for an extra day So we called the location and they said that we were only build for a single day and there was nothing he could do about it So then we had to call you haul directly and wait a 1/2 an hour to get our refundAshley B.
