The lock used to secure the vehicle was very difficult to open. It needs replaced. Also - the code was confusing. Three letter code, four character lock. Given how difficult the lock was if made it much more trying than necessary. Also - number 1 instruction needs to be Be at location. Not buried at bottom of page. Also - video needs to be updated, it was not the same as the new updates and that created more confusion than necessary.Jennefer K.

The u-haul trailer was scheduled to pick up in Grangeville, Idaho and dropped off at U-haul in Osburn, Idaho (5 miles from destination). When we were almost there, I get a phone call from U-haul telling me they changed the trailer return to Spokane, Wa.. That was 1 1/2 hours in the opposite direction and in another State. This was unacceptable, especially when there are many U-haul rental places much closer to our destination. I don't know why there was not a red flag or special message on my planned drop off point (Osburn, ID.) when I made my reservation online. Very poor business practice and will not use this company again.Craig D.

I went to pick up my truck at 8am truck wasn't ready till 9:am my box was a day late I had 20 people to load the truck for &10hr so first hour no truck because it wasn't ready then a nother 2 hr looking for boxes so U-Haul mad me loose $300 I had to pay guys doing nothing and wher do I get my money back for this boxes what came a day late.Michael K.

First we had to travel 1.5 hours to pick up the trailer. The guy that we picked up the trailer from in Grangeville ID. was very rude and put out because I asked him if he could put the ball on the receiver I just bought. He got it out of my car in a very disrespectful way and got mud all over the inside of my vehicle. I was not happy, I may send Uhaul a bill for cleaning. And I never did get the moving pads that I paid for. Second I declined the insurance online when I booked the trailer and the guy in Grangeville charged my card anyway and said I would have to call to get it removed. Umm I declined it in the first place. Not sure why I have to call, but when I did call they said they had to review it because I didn't call right away. I was busy moving 2000 miles away and didn't get the chance. And once again I declined the extra coverage. Third the girl that called from +1 (509) 481-5760 Spokane, WA was very rude and interrupted me as I was telling her my concerns and never let me finish. Then when I tried to finish what I was saying I had to get forceful because she kept talking. Very rude and need to be training in customer service and realize that without customers there is no Uhaul. I'm going to file a formal complaint with you and let everyone know on social media about my terrible experience with Uhaul. I will never use Uhaul again and I will be telling all my family and friends about my experience.Jennifer H.

This location was wonderful, and I have no complaints about them. However, I am very upset we had to go there in the first place. The day before I was supposed to pick up the truck I reserved months ago I got a call that it was unavailable because of the demand from the university students. Putting aside that this demand is annual and predictable, the fact that a truck I had RESERVED was given away to a walk-in is unacceptable. Furthermore, both the first and second locations customer service rereouted me to did not have a truck either. I spent an I spent over 2 hours on the phone between customer service and these locations before I was finally directed to a location that had a truck, over 2 hours away (the rental location I had originally chosen was less than 10 minutes). Customer service comped the driving miles and gave us $50 and 2 extra moving days. This helped, but by no means made up for the loss of my last packing day to repeated phone calls with customer service who could not manage to find me a truck, or the 5 hour round-trip drive I was forced to make. It is absolutely unacceptable that a truck I had reserved was given away, that I was told with such short notice, or that I was put through this excessive process to finally secure a truck. I will not be using U-haul in the future.Jeffrey O.

Rude obnoxious, would not check in, acted like we was causing him major "Butt Hurt" we didn't create. Had 16 rigs to check in before he would get to us. We waited there while he checked in all of them. If he was checking them in as they came in guess he would not have such a backlog of rigs to do,,,,right? You see I worked for Uhaul in Anchorage Alaska. Airforce, Army, Coastguard all use Uhaul to get there. Major hub in Anchorage. I was a mechanic repairing and doing "Conditional resets" on all incoming rigs that drove the "Alaska Highway" thru Canada. So I know a thing or two about this too. What happened to the friendliness we used to bestow unto our customers? It just does not exist anymore.Randal W.
