Drop off service was ok except the location was not close to what I requested. Multiple times I have rented from UHaul and each time either the equipment, locations, or both was changed from what I reserved. This is very inconvenient and frustrating. I don't see why reservation can not be accurate. In this case, I had to drive an hour each way to drop off trailer in middle of no where Iowa. I will look for more reliable options in future.

The equipment was clean and in good condition, but the pickup process was confusing and took almost 25 minutes. I could not find clear instructions explaining what I needed to do beforehand, and without outside help I honestly would not have understood the process. I did not like finding out at the last minute that I had to take multiple photos, upload my documents myself, and then wait for someone to approve the rental before I could get the vehicle. This should be explained much more clearly before the scheduled pickup time so customers can have everything ready in advance. I also found the price very excessive. I paid about $250 for the rental plus another $48 in gas for 4 hours. I have rented from the Marshalltown U-Haul before and usually spend around $150 total, including the rental and gas for 6 hours. The equipment itself was fine, but the self-service process and overall cost made this experience much less convenient than expected.
