Very disappointed with the Fuel Service Fee of $30.00 and and the 10 GL Fuel Charge of $60.00. I have pictures of the gauges. The Fuel Miles left when I got the truck read 41, the Fuel Miles left when I returned the truck was 49, as I had added 4 gallons. The dealership is only approximately 9 miles from my home where the truck was only used to store garage items why our garage floor was repaired. Then 9 miles back with a round trip and total miles of under 20 miles. If these fees are not corrected I will certainly not use U-Haul for my next rental, will advise friends likewise, and will explore initiating a Bank Card Charge Back. The$30 Fuel Service Fee was not advised prior to the rental and the $60.00 Fuel Charge, when I brought the truck back with more gas than I got it with, is immoral, probably illegal, and certainly unethical.Ron S.
R mirror was smashed, I order 48 blankets for use/rental and they had none. I was referred to another location who only had 4 available. I still paid for the full rental, but had not received any monies back as yet for the blankets I had not been able to use.ERIC S.
Have the trailer and truck in the same location. Especially when a customer has to drive 30 mins out of their way to get the equipment that was supposed to be down the street from them.Thomas T.
The mileage on the vehicle was off by over 1,000 miles and uhaul attempted to charge my card for it because it appeared I had driven over the mileage when I in fact had driven less miles than I intended to use.Courtney J.

Let customers know ahead of time that ALL equipment reserved is NOT available at pick up location. Used to be that the AFM made sure the dealerships had the equipment to cover reservations?!?!Cynthia D.

It took far too long to complete the rental. I was supposed to pick it up the day before at a different location, but it was rescheduled to a location 60 MILES away. Ridiculous. I had to call to find another location and postpone our plans to pick it up here. The trailer had broken straps, and if my son was not handy we would have had yet another delay. This could have been very dangerous. The change of location was not the fault of the dealer, but of U Haul. Not acceptable.Susan H.
I was literally scared the entire time I was driving this truck. It felt like the transmission was slipping and the alignment was so off that I had to keep in the right hand lanes because the truck was pulling so bad to the right. I did tell the store associate that they may want to take this truck off until it these things are corrected. Just please make sure the trucks are in good working, safe conditions.Delores R.

Truck was old and surprised we even made it without breaking down it bounced and when we got there to get it they didn't have connection for dolly took hours to get the truck and dolly. The guy had no idea what he was doing either. He was nice but clueless.Justin S.
The location is an auto repair shop They were too busy working on cars to really help. They complain about where I parked the truck even though, the facility is very small. This was on Monday the 26th of July. On Friday the 30th, I got a call from another U Haul facility in Macon, wanting to know where is the truck. They were told my the facility on Vineville the truck was not there. I had to call Vineville myself to find out what was going on. Only then, they found the truck. The facility which was looking for the truck demand that I call Vineville because Vineville did not put the truck returned in the computer.TIMOTHY S.

This was not my original pick up location. Uhual I am beyond pissed with my experience this morning. First I get a call Friday to say they have moved my reservations to another location; then I drive 2 1/2 hours to the new location, to I'm sorry we don't have a truck for you. I call in to customer service to get assistance and now I'm getting a truck much larger than the original one and let's not mention it's dirty in the back. I had ordered the 10 ft truck and 2 dollies, but they didn't have any dollies there for me. The receptionist was friendly and professional.Ann B.
Customer service was terrible. Truck was clean and ready to go on time. I was charged for fuel but I took the truck back with more fuel than I left with. I was also charged for insurance after I picked up the truck. They did credit me back for that after an hour on the phone. The location was not helpful with my issues they said I had to call haul.Stephen S.

There was not any fuel in the truck and the reading was on EMPTY. We were told to drop off the truck with the same amount of fuel it had in it when we picked it up. We dropped the truck off with a hair under a 1/4 tank and I was still charged for bringing it back with more fuel in it than recommended to have in it when returned.William J.

The truck was full of ants. It made the ride unbearable. My truck on the tow dolly wasn't properly aligned and they didn't tell us nor did they tie the steering wheel down & the straps came off.Chinita P.

After calling the day prior to ensure we would have our truck, we arrived at Prime Tire the morning of our reservation to discover they had no record of our reservation (which had already been paid for) and insisted we make a new reservation. I don't like to criticize people at work, however this particular instance was unacceptable and the incompetence displayed was frustrating. It turns out our pick-up location had been switched and we had not been notified at all. I blame both U-Haul and Prime Time equally. Might as well get a trash Budget truck next time. U-Haul was able to resolve the issue when we called, and the customer service representative was incredibly kind and helpful.CHRIS H.

I bring it back the truck same day and they took money off the card charge me for 23to 28 and that's not right.i had it on the 22 if may.It was dirty and I cleaned the truck! And I going to see what I do about it.That was not my card .I drove 15 mile only.Cassandra R.

They left us the code to the wrong key box. We had to use a different truck. The truck was larger. I do not plan to be charged for a larger truck. There was no dolly in the vehicle. We need a refund on that. The right blinker bulb was out and the rolling rear closure would not stay open when unloading. When renting remotely there should be someone easily available to assist with problems. Very frustrating.Elliott W.

altogether it took an hour to rent and return the truck. I had two employees with me, paid by the hour. Therefore, I had to pay them for sitting as I waited first to be waited on an then for the clerk to make repeated phone call for instructions on how to fill out and process the for in which she evidently proceed incorrectly so when I returned the truck everything had to be corrected by another endless amount of phone calls. How something so seemingly simple can be so complicated is beyond me, especially when that incompetent s is costing me money.Denver P.

I was charged for extra miles that I didn't use, and my bank card was charged twice. I've been unable to get anyone at that location to answer the phone to tell me why I was charged twice.Yvonne J.

I will never use this company for my moving needs! I used the self service to rent the truck, once i was finished and completed the online turn in progress. It charged me for an extra day. I called customer service and told them about the double charge, they said they was going to investigate and call me Monday... of course no one called me! I ended up calling them and they still telling me the same thing! Finally they seen i was over charge and was supposed to refund my money, they â€œclaimedâ€ they had to mail the check and it would take 7-10 business days... that was 6/6 and it's 6/28 no check! I called and them and said they â€œJustâ€ mailed the check on 6/18, but they lied and told me they was sending it out on 6/6. I will NEVER rent from them again! It's been a month and nothing has been resolved!Danielle G.
