Hello, I booked the van with Ashley over the phone and gave her our Debt card details. We are in Australia but had arranged with a local driver to collect the van to take it to our film set. I specifically asked if Visa Debt card was sufficient for making the booking and if the driver who was collecting the vehicle needed to bring anything and was told 'No' everything was fine and we could either check in prior or check in when he was collecting the keys. Again I asked if there would be any issues and was told 'no'. We checked in online as I wanted the process to be as smooth as possible. We are in Australia (in an opposite time zone) and thus a 3pm pickup in Toronto is at 5am Saturday morning in Australia - not an ideal time to be getting phone calls to sort out any issues. I was again assured everything was fine and all the driver needed was Drivers Licence. Come pick up time it turns out all was not fine and Uhaul would not let the vehicle go without a credit card and a deposit. So at 5am on Saturday morning we were receiving calls from a distressed driver who was not able to collect the vehicle as we had been promised. After a flurry of calls the situation was explained and the driver was allowed to finally take the vehicle. I am grateful the situation was resolved within an hour but annoyed that after being reassured numerous times at the booking stage that there would not be a 'situation' at pickup there was. It was disappointing customer service and cause unnecessary distress.dwaine J.

the owner of the store showed up 30 minutes late then I had to wait almost an hour while he started his computer and to make matters worse I had reserved a dolly but was advised when I got there that he did not have a dolly. This was the worst UHaul experience I have ever had and would make me reconsider ever renting from UHaul again. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEMark G.
There was animal fur on the passenger side seat. The representative provided inaccurate information regarding payment upon return of vehicle keys and proceeded with unprofessional business practices. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone or return for personal needsDeidra B.
I found this place as a result of last minute search for a Uhaul Van. It was bit far from where I live. But I would definitely recommend for people who live within the area. The owner is very professional and very pleasant to deal with. Overall it was a good experience.Sofia D.
Removing any cars obstructing the driveway. The business owner did offer but it was not until i was trying to back out that i realized it would be hard with the car there. This was my fault but advice I would give to someone renting from thisnlocation.Kyle G.

The truck smelled like a dead animal inside and was dirty on the inside and outside. The location took over 30 minutes to complete the rental because the agent was alone and had to move vehicles and then take other work and personal calls while completing the transaction.MURRAY B.

My reservation was inexplicably cancelled just before I was going to pick up the truck. I had to spend hours on the phone with customer service to rebook a truck and was not able to rebook for three days as I intended and only got a truck for 24 hours. This ruined my weekend plans. I'll be needing a van for three days every three weeks for the rest of the summer, but I'll be thinking twice before booking a van from U-haul again.ANDRIY G.
The app did not work for the rental, and was slow with many issues. Luckily the store was still open and was able to rent it through them instead. Then I was charged extra for extra gas, however I returned the vehicle with more than what I started with. Calling customer service was a not helpful and transfered to multiple departments without resolution of the issue on hand. The parking was small, and had vehicles blocking access to the U-Haul van. Overall a bad experience, and would not recommend to others.David Z.

They guy was very friendly but unfortunately he seems to have no idea about how uhaul works. I am a new client but had to help him to use the internal system. He wanted to charge my credit card although I had paid already. The "auto checking" idea is great but it was totally useless in my case. I had to wait around 10min for him to print the receipt.Diogo L.

This is the most bootleg uhaul situation I've ever seen. The rental location is actually a florescent green print shop where the uhaul van is parked behind 6 vehicles in the back that all require moving in order to gain access. There's no key drop box. Would never go back.Jason Y.
Ensure your dealer is open as their posted hours suggest they are. Pick up and return were both met with an empty, locked office. Unhappy.JONAH F.
The location was ill kept and had no UHAUL signage. The inside of the store is dirty and junk and messy. The proprietor was late, and surly blaming us for his tardiness. He used his own laptop with a credit card scan device, and I've advised my credit card company that if there is any misuse of my card, the information was on his computer which he had to boot up once he arrived. He also has an open bible above his shop door, and religious signs hanging in the store. NOT professional, not up to UHAUL standards. If my husband had not been with me, I would not have gone in to the store.NAN B.
