The office was full of cigarette smoke, and I had to step outside in order to breathe, since my lungs won't tolerate it. Also, the attendant did not wear a mask, so that felt a little risky. Our reservation had been made online with all the fields completed, but the attendant went through the whole thing again with us, costing us extra time and requiring us to stay in the office for 15 minutes or more. The truck was good and clean though. We just won't rent from this location again, and we don't recommend it. There are cleaner U-Haul offices in the community.Matthew S.

Person in office did NOT have a mask on. The office was thick with cigarette smoke. Person had to be asked to come out and take mileage and give us the amount the charge would be. Overall will find a different location to rent next time we need it!!Gary M.

First the office space for rental leasing is extremely small and over crowded. Secondly they had a huge cat laying on the counter , And the woman was smoking a cigarette and blowing it like a smoke stack. The uhaul was full of ice not cleared off from the snow storm ... The cargo area of the truck was full of the previous renters blankets and utility truck. The employee even asked me if I would clean it out. And they had the nerve to tell me if I don't clean the truck or refuel it I would be charged $60 I would never use this facility again or recommend them. It was very uncomfortable and appalling.Steven B.

did reservation online and received call that equipment is only available at East Moline location. employee at location is rude and she said you have 6hours to bring back. which it takes me to pickup and drop off takes 3 hrs. i didn't get enough time to move my vehicle. have to rest something else. not happyDaljeet D.

To honest I can't think of 1 thing walking in to rent u haul I feel like I'm walking into a relative's house they treat customers like family addressed all my needs above and beyondNicholas L.
First of all, online check in/check out is a joke as it takes forever to work, if it works. There happened to be a person at this location who tried to help me check in but was unsuccessful. She was sweet, but she also told me that this truck had been in storage for 100 days without use or maintenance, not exactly the thing a person driving it 4hrs away wants to hear. We had to drive it in the rain and the wipers kept coming off. Also, slippers are not appropriate work attire; not only because it is unprofessional but it is also a safety hazard and liability.Jennifer D.

My whole experience with uhaul was terrible. The lady was not nice, our trailer was at another location and they were supposed to add miles to my account but didn't. And when i went to pick up the trailer, it was the auto transport, instead of the tow dolly which is what I originally asked for. The guy was rude and snappy. The uhaul truck was misfiring the whole drive.Devan W.

Although the truck had an exhaust leak and was noisy, it drove very well. I am a repeat customer at this location and I would definitely recommend, not really just for the truck, but for the great customer service I got from the nice lady that worked there. The truck took an hour to pick up. It was dirty with something spilled on the floor mats, an unsmoked cigarette in in door handle, plastic bottle under seat and the back had not been swept. Location didn't have the furniture pads I ordered. I was charged incorrectly. The printer had no toner and I was asked to sign a blank contract.Rhonda V.

Place was dirty and smelled and lady wasn't focusing on my transaction, kept talking to other people about other customers. Truck was scratched up, dirty, had trash in it. Ordered the truck for 10 hours and when I called the lady had already left for the day? I didn't know if I could bring it back a couple hours late so ate the $40 fee to drop it off the next day. I would recommend that the equipment be better maintained. As the person who worked at the company said, the truck was due for its "annual" oil change. Not only was the oil light on, but a warning chime sounded every 30 seconds or so to remind the driver of the need for the oil change. We were thankful we didn't need to drive the truck far, or it would have been very annoying.Steven G.

Very small location, stale smoke reeked in the office so bad I wanted to stand outside. Why is it you can't smoke in any store or bar but you can in a small business? Big turnoff for me. I had ordered & paid for a mattress bag when I made the reservation online but was told when I got there that they don't carry any supplies.Gail M.

This was the worst experience with u haul I have ever had. The truck was dirty, the location and it's employees were unprofessional. Two of the employees were under the influence of illegal drugs. Half of my property was damaged because the truck leaked water from the roofBRIAN Y.

My reservation wad changed to a different location, and 200 dollars more than my original price,. Attendant was great about refunding the first reservation, we tried to start a new reservation but it came to the same price. We canceled that reservation and I did the entire transaction online fore 200 dollars less.David K.

This location was wonderful, however your company as a whole is just absolute garbage! Every time I have rented from you my truck has not been where it was supposed to be, but rather an 50mi in the wrong direction! This is absolutely ridiculous. Why is it so hard for you to just trip a truck to the location it was supposed to be at? That's what Hertz does, when someone reserves a car and the closest on is at a different location, we don't send the customer to that location, we send a driver to go get that car and bring it to the location the customer reserved it at!Tim P.

The truck's driver's side door wouldn't lock. There was no windshield washer fluid in the truck. It smelled horrible. The lady who worked there was the most unprofessional person I've ever met, and her "workers" (rather her teenage son and his friends) made me feel very uncomfortable because they did not want to help at all (like, get the truck ready for me and get the furniture dolly).
