The truck and location were fine. I'm frustrated by the booking experience and lack of customer service follow-up. Everything is automated and even though I declined the $15 insurance, I noticed it was on my final bill that was emailed to me and my card was charged. I emailed the billing address provided 2x, but no response. I even asked the chat people how to reach customer support and they said to call, but no one answers.Jamie K.

The truck I rented was full of construction sand, the lady on administration didn't have the patience to write my name or telephone number right, I suppose to return it at 10pm and I did it at 9:30pm and drove it for 30mi and they over charged me for 100+mi and for returning the truck overtime. And because I administration didn't have my right info I didn't have any proof of my rental and after 3 weeks now no one have resolve my problem or return my money. Please go to a real store of Uhaul and not to these little shit holes.zonalin R.

I ordered a dolly and the dolly was not included. The app. also had the wrong gas level and mileage and i had to call customer service multiple to let them know there were miscalculations in the fee associated with the rental as such. Having said that, I reached out to customer service one last. time post return and they fixed it for me.Lilian T.

Uhaul s reservation system is a joke and the customer service over the phone were complete shit. The only saving grace they have is that their station personnel who helped us checkout the vehicle were chill. Everything else was a night made with you guys. I'm never using Uhaul again.NICHOLAS G.

The people at Rainer's were great! Loved the speed and efficiency and most of all, helpfulness I experienced. The only small gotcha was that the windshield of the truck was super dirty and I didn't realize it until I was well on my way. I don't know that they could have done anything about it, it's not like they have a car wash, but it had clearly been dirty for a while. When I did stop to clean it, I had to scrub hard and even then, the streaks were pretty caked on. It wasn't dangerous, but it made it uncomfortable driving at dusk.Eduardo M.

The location and employees I interacted with were great, but the auto transport trailer was really beat up and broken. For example, one of the rubber stoppers that holds up the driver's side fender was ripped off and the employees had to replace it.Carl T.

The location was changed and size of trailer was changed at the last minute. The East Palo Alto locations closes at 5pm. We were advised to be there no later than 4:30pm because they wanted to go home early because it was three day weekend. I made a reservation a month in advance because it was Labor Day weekend and my reservation was not honored. They offered we could pick up in Dublin, CA an additional 90 minute drive to pick up and 90 minutes to go to the home where we had to move items. You are the only show in town and customer service on the phone was less than helpful and did not seem to manner of the change in trailer size or location. When I requested my trailer a month in advance I preferred the Redwood City location but Belmont would of been fine but not Dublin, CA. So we had to take the smaller trailer and pick up at East Palo Alto. My credit card was charged the same amount as if we picked up the 5x8 trailer instead of the 4x8 trailer..Janis O.

There was no formal means to check in the uhaul, no personnel to assess the vehicle at the location, just a drop off box. I was also charged for an extra day when I returned the vehicle on time and the individual was not even there. I would not recommend using this location.Adriana V.

I was overcharged for the mile usage. The counter person wrote down 5999 miles instead of 6097 miles as my initial mile. How can I drive a van over 150 miles in less than 2 hours? Luckily, I took the pictures with timestamps of before and after I used the van and now I'm still waiting to hear back from U-Haul about this situation. But overall, I'm not satisfied.phoom C.

The folks who helped me rent a van provided a customer experience above and beyond what I expected. They handled lots of customers efficiently and got us going with our vans quickly. And they did it all with a calm presence that I really needed on my moving day. I will make Rainer's my spot for renting u-haul's from now on!Anya B.
