Fix your trucks and stop letting gas stations rent these vehicles out it is scetchy and hard to trust a big company like U-Haul when I pick up your truck from a gas station and the employees hardly know how to rent the truck out, and when customers claim liability on the truck actually do your research, I was in the vehicle I know what happened I watched it, your company is so focused on money and not wanting to be wrong you are now trying to make me pay for a 1800$ impound fee when all I was doing was taking care of your poorly maintained truck and removing it from causing anymore damage to the truck or any other vehicle that it was blocking in. I will not be paying that impound fee feel free to call me ti discuss it but my mind is set U-Haul. - sincerely, a lost customer....

DEBORAH BWas confusing. There's a store there and food trucks and the parking lot was packed. Was told by 2 different people that I had to move truck from around the food truck access. Dropped off the key with the staff inside the store. Dropped off the auto tow trailer at a different location because they stated that they could not accept trailer at this location.
DEBORAH BI originally signed up for a location that was close to my home and I knew the area was safe. Uhaul called and advised the truck I wanted was not there to go to another location. It was only 7 miles from my home. But I did not feel safe there in broad daylight. There were bars on the windows of the store. We discovered, once on the highway, the left brake light and rear turn signal did not work in the truck. The truck felt run down and not well maintained.
