The whole experience was a debacle and I will not recommend UHaul. The online reservation was fine, no issues. The phone call I received to alert me that the reservation could not be completed was unfriendly and unkind. Nancy called to tell me there were no UHauls available in all of the Northern Virginia district and when I confirmed that, she said, "Do you expect me to tell other families they can't have a UHaul" It was uncalled for, irrelevant and not productive. Especially when that wasn't my question. Also considering after the whole debacle and once we secured the UHaul I had an opportunity to check out other places and Chantilly had over a dozen trucks for our needs. Once we arrived to the Rapido location it was like starting all over again. Not having the correct paperwork, not having the correct dates. The truck seemed fine although, it seemed quite dated.

Did not have the requested moving blankets available. Truck and blankets were dirty.
Michael HReservation was for pick up at 2:00 on Sunday. Location was closed when I got there. Made phone calls and nobody answered. Called U-Haul and 45 minutes later finally transferred to a regional manager who told me to take pictures and hook up and take the trailer myself. Never again. Home Depot rental. Much happier people with a touch of customer service.
Steve MNo military, AAA, or senior discounts were available. Rental process took a long time at the counter. Female employee was not trained in how to rent U-Haul equipment and would not even get out of her chair to talk with me, the customer. 15" trailer tounge is heavy, be sure to have two people to lift onto truck hitch as you will not get help from store .
