Everything was fast and easy.
Daniel TEasy location to acces a large selection of uhaul trucks. I was in and out with in minutes of my reservation. No countertop sales people, just a helpful dude with a tablet. The truck I borrowed was new with all the bells whistles of technology. There was a tiny hiccup with the dashboard having been serving a different language. The issue caused no inconvenience to me. Highly recommend. ***BONUS**** There are several gas stations to make it easy to return with the same fuel as when it was picked up.

kennette mI rent a motorcycle trailer anywhere from 2-3 times a month to once every quarter. Depends on what's going on in the shop. Always had great, fast service and never a problem with the trailers or hookups. Except this time. 100-mile round trip to drop off a BMW. I didn't notice the problem until I got on the interstate and the trailer was bouncing up and down. The bike was strapped down, so no problem there. But the trailer was not happy. When I slowed to 20mph, you could watch the left side of the trailer bounce up 6-8 inches. Either the tire lost a weight or it's bad tire. If I took a turn faster than 45mph, the bouncy trailer would try to steer the car. A little unnerving. But I got the bike delivered and the trailer back. Just not the best UHaul experience after decades of good stuff.
greg hBig yard that you can’t use. Had to call in to find out what to do and he was out to lunch then said he’d turn around and park it there. And said he’d check me in when he gets back but didn’t and called me end of the day and asked why I didn’t check it in. Very confusing
Steven GThis is my third time here in each time as been a great experience. I’ve come and picked up a trailer to haul a car and I’ve left within half an hour. Pro tip, go on the U-Haul website, choose this location and reserve whatever vehicle you’re looking for. Once you come in, you take a picture of your license back in front, through their app and you’ll be shoot out the door. You pop up, you can go on their website on your phone there and reserve it. I will only come here now, if I am gonna rent anything U-Haul related.
Jusn DI was in a bit of a bind and needed to rent a truck immediately. This location was able to help me out and get me the equipment i needed day of.
Drew AI did not like that. My original reserved location was changed the day before I was scheduled to pick up. This new location was farther away for me but the representative from the new location then called me to say that they were not available for me to come pick up at a certain time and we agreed to a couple hours later. It seems like every time I rent from U-Haul. These last-minute schedule changes always happen. It’s very frustrating.
Steven PJust a parking lot with a couple uhaul signs. Personnel had no direct phone number, no one was on site. Had to figure out the drop off on my own. I was also charged an extra fee, my card was ran without my consent. I got a phone call from someone who knew they shouldn't have done it, but did it anyways.

We called the number on the gate and was told to leave the truck at another location we did so As instructed, we were told to lock the key in the truck. We did so Following this, I received at least a dozen calls non stop. He was very rude, would interrupt us mid conversation and hang up on us. I would never ever rent from U-HAUL again after this experience it was extremely aggravating and stressful

Rick HMy 10 years of using U-Haul renting this was the most poorest the most disgusting the most applicable experience I’ve ever had rude people. You have a third-party that you allowed to rent your trucks that have no common courtesy. Don’t explain the situation just rude. I am surprised that you all allow such a disgrace to take place with renting their trucks. They were used to be the most reliable, the most considerate one of the most understandable truck rental facility, but this was terrible. I would never go to either of those places again. Would never go to apron Atwater would never go to Redwood City horrible and I mean horrible and I plan to write consumers affairs to go into to the rating and give it a poor rating and I’m not just saying this I can prove every single action it is horrible.

Scott MThey have a gate and less restricted. They asked me to return using app. The order did not even show up in my app. They told me over the microphone to leave the keys in the box. After an hour I get a call that the truck is not that clean. Take it and clean or pay $65. What a shame. I said I will be back by 5pm. If the delivery/return was in person then I would have gone to car wash (Ducky’s - 1/2 mile away). What a shame. Also last two bookings they are marking the fuel gauge wrong. Why is the technology not helping ?

James GThey were horrible. I had to drive 2 hours away to get a truck. Then back 2 hours. Went to RWC location to get trailer. It had a broken light. So I had to delay my trip again. They were rude and not helpful. This whole experience was a nightmare and I will spend the rest of my life telling people how horrible your company is.
Celeste YAttendant had problems connecting to the system and the tablet got dropped several times forcing annoying repetitive transfer of information until it finally went through. . Improve the system connectivity please.

ANGELA HWindshield wipers were broken and cracked... and oil was low and we added some into it. Seal was cracked on the doors so you could feel air come through it.

DOUGLAS ACustomer service was awful. I got charged an additional $20 for a service fee because no one at the gate at 8am to open on time but I was so how is that my fault and why should I be charged?

Anthony GThe location of my reservation was changed and I was given no notice. I estimated 100 miles, but the charge listed a charge for 160 miles. The truck was given to me almost completely empty. After I returned it with more gas than I received it with, I was charged a fuel surcharge. Uhaul needs to return to honest customer service.
Eric COk, when you check into this location the signs are pointing different directions so it’s a bit confusing, but one of the signs asks you to call a number to get further instructions. The lady who answered wasn’t sure what to do so she said she would have somebody call us. But she was very nice. We ended up wondering back a bit deeper into the parking lot and found a guy who was able to check us in and was wondering why we didn’t do that in the first place (again, confusing signage). He was great and made it very easy. However, we received a call from another guy while we were pulling out and he was abrupt and asked us where we put the truck. I said we checked it in with the U-Haul agent. And he got snippy and said “I need to know where so I can find it.” And then gave a sarcastic chuckle. I told him it was in the back of the lot at A-1 with the other vehicles. He said “nevermind I’ll find it thanks.” I said “umm ok.” Because he was being rude and dismissive at this point. So we just ended it there. But he ruined a really good experience.

kelly vThe equipment looked brand new when I picked it up. The tires looked new, with plenty of tread. I noticed this because at the location I usually go to the trailer tires are bald. Pick up and drop off are both much better at this location as well. They send you a text message a couple hours before your scheduled pick up time, prompting you to upload your driver license photo, and then they just meet you in the lot and hook you up. It could be totally contactless if you wanted, but Rick was a pleasant guy to talk to. Dropping it off was just as easy. I just rolled up and Rick's partner was right there helping somebody else dropping off, paused them for a few seconds, unhooked me expeditiously, and asked if I wanted paper or email receipt. Fanf_ckingtastic! I think I'll drive a little bit out of my way from now on just to rent from this location...
Michael CBest location ever. Sometimes things don't always go as expected. The entire system was down on a national level. The office took me in, provided me with a space to work with wifi and provided snacks and coffee. I was able to get some work done while the system went back up. I was quickly on my way. This location knows how to treat its customers!

Joseph MThe only negative I have with the experience was when I returned the trailer. When I dropped the trailer off at the afterhours lot, I was unfamiliar with the process of checking it in on the app. I called the posted number for UHAUL for help. The man on the phone was quite rude and short with me. he directed me to the UHAUL app to check the trailer in, but he was more concerned that I only use one parking slot to leave the trailer in. He repeated the instruction to leave the trailer in ONLY ONE parking slot three times. For some reason that was main concern. His attitude was pretty much "use the app to check the trailer in, moron".
DAVID SI rented a 15’ truck twice over two weekends for a 350+ mile move, and both experiences were excellent. The trucks were either like new or extremely well-maintained and spotless. Gas mileage was surprisingly good. Pickup and return were quick and easy, and billing was seamless. What really stood out, though, was the owner. After getting to know him, I found him to be a person of genuine character—considerate of customers and always making sure they get the best equipment for the job. Maintaining a fleet takes real effort (I even saw him working outside in the scorching sun), yet he consistently puts customer needs first. Highly recommend this location.

This morning, Jose went above and beyond with his level of service. He really cares about his customers and took the time to get to know me. I hope I am lucky to work with him again next time!

Having used several other truck rental locations, I can confidently say this U-Haul stands head and shoulders above the rest.
HENRICK KAttendant would only sell me the standard U-Haul hitch ball mount at 2x the retail price (i.e. $60 vs $29.99) and required cash payment. Seemed a bit sketchy. For the next customer please make it clear what the accessory prices will be at the remote pick up location.
John KWas met by manager when picking up vehicle and when dropping off. Didn’t have to find the manager or go to the office. This was the best U-Haul truck experience I have ever had.
