Drop key in box as instructed but apparently truck was not checked back in for days after I returned it 2 hours before due. Received email indicating such & had to call U-haul to resolve situation. Unnecessary effort & stress caused because personnel at location did not follow through on their responsibilities. Rented at this location before & did not have such challenges. May have been a one time situation but I will think twice & double check behind store staff to avoid such confusion next time.

Rather than having the attendance use their phone and the app to check in and check out, there should be a computer station dedicated to the process to make it more efficient and faster.

Mike the Regional UHaul Manager personally helped me and even troubleshooted and repaired a fuse problem in my truck so that the trailer turn signals worked . What a professional what a great guy.

The truck was very clean. The lady who helped me was extremely nice. The served us very well. The problem is, U-Haulcharged me $344.++ for a $29 truck for 5 hours. Trent, w/customer service stated I drive over 300 miles when I drove actually 72 miles. I'm glad I took videos of picking up and returning. I'm trying to get this resolved...

There were no signs indicating where I needed to go or whom I needed to speak. The phone app would not upload the pic, uhaul phone service had a 30 minute wait, chat could not help me. I locked up and walked into a store because I was thirsty and discovered that was the uhaul drop off!!

I realize now that In my original contract I booked an “in town truck”; however, while I was at the Tanner Williams location I notified the Uhaul representative that I needed to leave the Uhaul in Birmingham, which was different than the contract agreement. The representative said, “That's okay, Uhaul will just track your mileage and charge you the owned amount once you return it in Birmingham.” Therefore, I was under the impression that everything was good to go with my contract agreement. Once I got to Birmingham and tried to return the truck, I was charged an additional $260 for not returning it to the Tanner Williams location…. I was told that I could leave this statement and I might be contacted and reimbursed the $260.

Station employees tried there best to help with pickup. After we finally got decent internet connection, everything went smoothly. The problem layed with the storm messing with local internet. And when I tried to call customer service for help, who went had previously gone above and beyond to help me over the phone, they said use they electronic check-in so that the pickup place could just hand me the key, but it never gave me a truck number so the pickup location couldn't give me a key. This app didn't let me add insurance without crashing. Also, when I went to fill out the 24/7 app, I was required to provide a copy of the lease agreement, proof of employment, and a copy of my damn passport! I'm not wanting to buy the damn truck or apply for a job! I want to rent your over booked truck! Just let me verify the info over the damn phone! However, I will say thank you for allowing me to get a bigger truck at the same rate, but next time, add extra miles for me having to drive to the other side of the state since you over booked your trucks. That way, I don't have to pay extra for mileage that you forced on me because your company no longer shuttles trucks to locations that they have been reserved at!

It took me 1 1/2 hour to get this uhaul truck signed out. Most horrible experience I have every had. And the price was out outrageous for a one way trip. 50 miles for 150.00 and then charged me another 23 dollars for fuel and I only keep the truck 4 hours

Use of the website for return is awkward and not very user friendly. I would rather have a person inspect the returned equipment and provide a printed receipt.

I was rerouted to a different truck way on the other side of town. Was notified of change after my scheduled pick up time and nothing was done to offset my cost or make things more convenient for me. UHaul screwed me. Thanks guys

When we arrived, even though I had a text confirmation and a verbal confirmation, there was not a truck there that was reserved, there was only 1 truck available that had just been returned that morning. It wasn't cleaned. And, we had to drive an hour away to pick it up. So it was very frustrating to arrive and not able to even co firm our rental. An hour away to pick up a uhaul truck is a little ridiculous given the number of locations. There was also a trailer still attached to it that we had to remove ourselves. It had not been cleaned at all when we picked it up since we were told that it had just been returned.

The lady who was supposed to check us out had NO CLUE what to do. Told us to go home, do it online snd come back. And even after we did that she still couldn't figure it out. And she made me stand on the side and took each customer who came in after me, ahead of me “because that was where their real money came from and not Uhaul so she wasn't that worried about getting to me.” VERY BAD ALL THE WAY AROUND!!

This is a convenience store rental location. The clerk was alone and had to wait on other customers while completing my rental contract. She didn't allow me to read the contract or sign it. She made a mistake on the return date that caused issues when I turned the unit in. U-Haul allowed me 3 days and 400 miles to return the unit but she posted my return date for the day after the rental originated.

This location was much closer to our location, than the location listed on our contract. When I called the service rep informed us that we were welcomed to turn the vehicle in at their location. It was so easy and they were very friendly. Thank you for helping us during our move.

There are none for this location! the folks at Roadway 4 in Tanner Williams community they are very nice and helped me as I'm not real great on computer she checked me in upon return and I'm so grateful for her assistance! Great folks!
