Was charged for a "wrong destination fee" out of thin air. Called and said I'll get a refund, still waiting on it. I was told this has been happening often with Uhaul, ie people have been being charged twice. Unprofessional and greedy system, employees are nice, but not worth it when you have to triple check your fees to make sure you're not being ripped off.

The 15' vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke. I know the vehicle has signs that say "no-smoking", but fines should be enforced when people that rent these vehicles smoke in them. Highly undesirable for someone that has "smoke allergies". Other than that, perfect!

After <100 miles, the "change oil soon" indicator came on. The van also smelled of manure or maybe a dead animal? But otherwise in good shape for a U-Haul that is used to move things around. The staff at the facility were nice and accommodated me leaving my car onsite. The reason for having to leave my car onsite was because I reserved the van for a location much closer to my house, but U-Haul changed the reservation to a location 20+ miles away. Your online system should NOT have shown the vehicle available at the location closer to me if I couldn't pick it up there. Your after hours drop off tool is cumbersome and took me a long, frustrating time to complete. The "change oil soon" alert thwarted my effort to take a picture of mileage for your online drop off tool; it was dark and picture taking was difficult; and, I started the process before I completely unloaded the van into my car on the lot and because you wanted pictures of the inside of the car, I had had to restart the process after unpacking. Due to COVID, the van needs to be sanitized by the facility to ensure safety of the next customer, plus, the picture does NOT tell you how the van smelled.

1) I was not told that the Littleton drop off location was closed, even when I said Littleton. I learned through a call from Uhaul 5 minutes after I already picked up my rental with the agreed mileage. 2) Employee was not wearing a mask/facial covering, but was visibly sweating and coughing.

The truck had 135,000 miles on it, the check engine light was on, the passenger door would not shut all the way and at times it would not go into reverse. It should be retired. Also, the truck did not have a license plate on it.

Gas gauge was stuck. Tried to fill the truck back to the level gas was when picked up but would not read any change until over $60 was pumped into the tank and then it jumped to full. Had to put $40 in the tank more than should have.

When a trailer is being used to cross country tires should be checked well. I was given a trailer with tires in poor condition and had a blowout on the highway which could have been really bad. When renting a long distance trailer the tires should be in better condition.

I am so very grateful to Zach at this location. He went so far above and beyond to assist me. I had a reservation for a truck at the North Wolcott Country Store at 10:00am. I was a half hour early to find a closed store, no trucks, no people, and no cell service. I waited about 40 minutes, then started driving to get cell service. I found the North Wolcott Country Store's # was disconnected. A half hour after my scheduled pick up time, I got an email from UHaul saying that my reservation was changed and my truck was ready for pickup at a location 2 hours from me. This was laughable, and absolutely unacceptable. I called Robert & Sons to see if they could help me, and Zach had me drive there, and started making calls and seeing what he could do. Even if I hadn't been able to leave his location with a truck, I was so grateful to Zach for his efforts. He had a returned truck come in and I was able to use that one. He provided top notch service in a really stressful situation.

While driving the trailer tire went flat and we had to call uhaul for service. They found someone to come out to fix it but it was definitely time consuming and an inconvenience. Also, the chain to connect the car to the trailer was broken. We had to use a padlock to secure the chain

I was reimbursed for the donkey that was not available that was ordered to be used. So I was pleased with that. I rented a 15 ft truck on August 16 th and May have left a large clear baggy with bolts and screws to put a queen size bed frame together. Is there any way to check to see if they are still in the truck I rented? Possibly on the top compartment inside the deep end of the truck. 8924984136 if they are in morrisville and I will pick them up. Thank you. Arriving in Burlington VT. after a 7 hour drive expecting to pick up trailer in Burlington I was informed trailer was in Morrisville VT. 50 miles away from Burlington!. This added 2 more hours of driving and fuel consumption to my day. With technology today it seems it should have been easy to let me know this. Fortunately I did get to rental agent before closing hour.

Please improve the online reservation confirmation process. My pick up location was changed, last minute. Seems like in todays world you should be able to confirm whether a piece of equipment is at a location. This added an extra 2hrs on to my move due to location change.

When we reserved the trailer, we reserved to have it through Saturday. When we picked it up however, we were told we had it till Sunday. When we drop the trailer off Saturday afternoon we were charged an extra $20 because we had it back too late on Saturday.

The staff were unable to do the online set up without enlisting several iPhone scanners. So now my driver's license is in more phones than I would like. I was charged $25 for cleaning, and I was not informed that I should sweep out the back or there would be a fee. Overall, completely unacceptable. And incredibly expensive!!!!

having more locations to pick up and drop off would have nice. I asked for jeffersonville vt, had to go to morrisville instead. as I drove through jeffersonville the same size trailer was there all weekend.

When customers need to rent moving equipment they are usually on a tight schedule. When equipment is not available as promised, customers are inconvenienced and in my case I had to drive all night and load the trailer in the dark. Was then charged more than double the reserved rate.

I wasn't confirmed the mileage, wasn't explained the “Haul/Load” button so the truck was downshifting constantly I didn't see the “warning “ sign about it until halfway thru the trip. The fuel gauge was below halfway but my paperwork said halfway so I had to put more in than what I took the truck with. And this truck was definitely in need of service I believe. The cab and floor of the cab got so extremely hot that I had a case of seltzer on the floor between the seats and 4 of the cans exploded! Luckily they were in the case so they didn't explode up into my face!!! Very dangerous and no warning about this!

When I initially put this order in it was for the Waterbury one then that day was told I have to drive to Morrisville after a long day of work which was then another 30min away if I wanted to have it further away I would hAve put that and could of has it in Williston near my job where pickup was easy. The boy who helped me out was swearing left and right supper unprofessional.

The guy never checked any of the lights. He never responded to any thing. The traiker was dirty.He talked to his small children while he was hooking the trailer to the truck. He also parked his truck that had a trailer o so we had to squeese between the truck and the building.
