The vehicles were in dismal condition and, frankly, I didn’t feel safe driving my rental truck. The renter before me had left a huge metal dolly in the back, unsecured, and it flew around scaring me to death before I pulled over to see what the problem was. I couldn’t adjust the seat because the handle was broken off and the gas cap on the vehicle was broken. How does that go unrepaired? Really shoddy experience. And expensive.

SCOTT KReturned the trailer on the 4th in the afternoon. Had to call on the 6th to get them to close the ticket out. From what I understand, u haul charges per day on equipment. But I was told the cargo trailers like that are estimated by uhaul for people to have them for a certain period of time. We didn't use the whole time estimated. So why would I be charged for days that I didn't use it... But was informed that it was just a flat rate estimated for the time frame. And not by day.
KYLE GI have no problem with the location I have a problem with U-Haul and the fact that I had to drive 55 miles out of my way to pick it up. That’s 55 miles of extra gas for the truck and 110 miles of gas and wear and rare on my car plus wasting my time and my wife’s time. No appologies no compensation.

matthias bNobody was there at the drop off location, even though I arrived during business hours. The return after hours did not go smoothly and I'm not sure it was returned properly. Also added charge for going 41 miles over , which All I did was travel to Mikes , 30 miles out of the way returned to Potsdam ,loaded and went direct to my destination. Then an hour out off my way to return the truck. The better buisness bureau will receive a letter on this one.
Stephen GI am going to revisit this review. I had left one start a couple of days ago because I'd been overcharged significantly. On that review, I made sure to say that this was NOT the fault of the local UHAUL store, Robert & Sons. But let me clarify... The overcharge has been fully reversed due to the great efforts of one of their staff. Something that I did not expect. So now with that in mind, I will gladly praise these guys and gals at Roberts. Thank you for not only refunding the mistake - not made by you to be clear again - but also retaining a customer. Cheers! I will certainly rent from you guys again...every time. Now THAT is good business...

I had to take the time and spend the money on gas for a truck that was an hour away when I reserved one less than two miles from my house. Very frustrating. If I had not called to verify, I would have been completely stuck with my Sunday pickup as reserved. Unacceptable. This was not any reflection on the Morrisville pickup location.

Terry MMichele at Robert & Sons Lawn Care was outstanding! She was extremely helpful and made the whole process of returning the truck easy. Her outgoing and friendly personality really made my day. After a long trip she made the return process a smooth event which I really appreciated. I honestly believe that Michele is a great asset for U-Haul and because of her I will certainly tell my friends to rent from Robert & Sons for their U-Haul needs. I worked in a service based industry and Michele is the type of employee that I always wanted to hire but rarely found !
Kevin FThe tow hitch light was on, the service engine light was on and the fuel cap light was on. It was reported to the business but they said it was just serviced and all those lights on were normal.
TRACY Lthe truck leaked so that my queen mattress was destroyed. I will be filing a claim. The radio didn't work. And the location that we chose to drop it off was changed by somebody at the company. However we still dropped it off at the location that we chose becuase we chose that locaiton to accomodate our schedule, not Uhaul's schedule. I'll provide a more detailed review after I speak with them about the damage done to my mattress.

DAVID CThe van I used wasn't spotless, but it was usable. Windshield could have been cleaner, but it worked for what I needed it for. I felt the check in and check out process took longer then expected and I was charged more then it stated on the website. Based on the website and milage, I should have been charged roughly $80, not $119. Overall, the process was simple and convenient.

Cody VPlace was dirty and disorganized. I had reserved a appliance hand truck and they didn't have one and were not aware I had reserved that equipment. I appreciate that they called another rental company a half mile away. However it cost me more than double and required two more stops.

Kimberly RI've rented two U Haul trucks in the past 8 months and the windshield wipers on both of them were not in good shape. Fortunately I didn't have any rain either trip, but likely would have had to stop both times as it could have been dangerous to drive the truck with these poor windshield wipers.
