Outside rear doors of the trailer were FILTHY from road grime. I got my hands dirty every time I touched it & I tried to not touch it. Had a party & kept supplies inside so opened and closed a lot. Inside was OK. If I had time I would have taken it to the car wash.Rob V.

Well by the time me and my friend got the trailer unloaded I called the drop off location and I was getting close to their closing time but they stayed opening for me to get there and drop off the trailer and the young lady that assisted me in taking the trailer was very very helpful in fact I was so tired and at my age 66 I was unable to help lift the trailer tongue loose from my truck so she went got a dolly and just lifted it right off the trailer ball and got the trailer checked back in All I can say is she was great at her job and I was exceptionally pleased with her hard work with it all Thank YouRICHARD R.

I understand completely that sometimes you dont always have the right truck, but maybe not waiting until a few days (we were notified via test message a day or two days befor hand) to let the customer they have to go out of town to get the truck. However, it was very helpful that we did not need to go all the way back out of town to return the truck. Because it was a one way trip, we were able to return it to the nearest location.Kellie C.

The right side rail to tie down items was completely missing. I made my move very difficult. It was not the locations fault as it was easily overlooked. They did sweep the trailer prior to me taking it whichw as nice. This location is by far the best in tiffin. Every experience has been beyond excellent with them. The only problem is when the regional manager changes reservations without the customers approval or notifying the location. It happens all the time and is totally inexcusable. ts not the locations fault, but an inept regional managers fault. Sadly it puts the location in a bad situation.walter W.

The only complaint I have is when I called to get the quote and reserve the trailer I was told that if I picked it up on Friday and brought it back Sunday which is what I did I would have been charged for 2 days. When I got there on Friday and picked it up I was charged for 3 days. other than that the people were very helpful and very friendly and I will go back if I ever need to rent againMarty W.

there was no way to unhook the trailer, as the landing gear was not tall enough to undo the hitch, they left jack or anything. took us over an hr to unhook and go the trailer dirty on there lot due not being able to unhook the trailer then they charge me a 25 cleaning fee!!! that is straight BS, not to mention I had to remove my hitch to unhook it, and the freaking lights didn't work half the time, and it wasn't our electric hook up.Jenielle M.

I highly recommend Rock Run for U-Haul rental. My return was a bit of a problem, though, because I did not receive the text message from U-Haul until after I had dropped off the trailer and returned home. (I do not check my text messages while driving.) I had to return to the rental location to submit my return on my phone to avoid a $20 charge. While the idea is good, the timing was not.CRAIG M.

I reserved the truck and auto transport at a place 5 minutes and 3 miles from me. I got a notice I had to drive 30 minutes to get to the truck I had rented, which was inconvenient and drove up my miles. Then I spent two hours at the rental place trying to get everything figured out. By the time I got home with the truck, it had been 3 hours past the time I was supposed to be starting my move. My move ran late due to starting late, and then I got charged for when I returned the truck (which was 30 minutes away in location). I'm feeling completely robbedJesse M.

Location was excellent. My experience was n getting a truck from the corporate team was not as helpful. My location changed 3 times for my pickup. The additional miles provided to cover only covered the miles one way to the location. When I arrived, I ended up with a larger truck (better than smaller), but that likely decreased my MPG. I had to drive my personal car round trip in addition to my time (original 4 locations were 3-5 miles from my start), and additional cost. It was too late to try to get a truck from another provider when the final location was communicated . It worked out, but was not pleased with how it occurred. I contacted the 800 number and she was very helpful but could not change anything. So, other than the reservation everything else was great (equipment , people, payment)Warren L.

Rented open trailer for 1 day rental. Showed up after doing express check-in on my U haul account, only to go through complete process again at Rock Run. Barb was very polite, and thorough. Trailer was perfect..no problem. Took trailer back in 2 hours early. U-haul desk seems somewhat overwhelmed here... I waited awhile to get trailer checked in... they told me it would be taken care of. I was somewhat concerned because I know that if your equipment does not get checked in promptly before check in time you will immediately get charged again.... so 1 hour after I dropped off and "checked in" trailer I got an email notice from U-haul that my trailer was due. I called U-haul customer service, explained that I had already dropped off trailer.... this was still one hour BEFORE check in time. They called Rock Run... vendor told U-haul agent that "they were busy" and would get to it. So... after trying to make sure I met my obligations and did everything I could do not to get double charged... I checked my U-haul account later that night... of course I was still double charged. So, I called U-haul customer service.... once again, they called the vendor (Rock Run)... was told again that it would be taken care of next day. So, I emailed Barb at Rock Run as a follow up to confirm that the extra 46.00 would be reversed. Next day... at 1 PM, no reply. Called U-haul again, was transferred 4 times, till they got ahold of Barb at Rock Run, she told U-haul that she was sorry, and that charge would be reversed and that she would call to apologize personally. Barb did call and left VM saying she was sorry for inconvenience, but that her computer was down and she didn't notice the check in time or the double charge. I have rented U-haul equipment 5 times in last 3 months... I've learned that U-haul has LOTS of computer and system problems that cause headaches for the customers and for the rental locations. And if you're going to rent from Rock Run, or from any U-haul location you will learn to be VERY careful about getting overcharged because of the mistakes by vendors and by U-haul. This was a very bad experience... 50% on U-haul corporate and 50% on Rock Run. Thank God Home Depot rents trailers and equipment.Matt S.

I rented an open 6' trailer because I had a heavy load that was 5'-4â€ wide. The gate is only 5' wide so we had to manhandle the load over the sides instead of just sliding it straight in. I was very disappointed and my back hurts.Patrick Q.
