Linda MMy reservation made 3/7/26 was not honored!!! I was told by clerk on the Friday before 3/29/26 that they did not have a 26 ft truck to full my reservation. I spoke with Mary at the scheduling office and she told me the same thing. I was assertive and demanding that my reservation be honored. She finally agreed to provide the truck but changed my pick up time by 6 hours. She told me the truck available would be returned to the storage area at 6:00 PM on Saturday 3/28/26 and she had no control over whether or not it would actually be returned. I stopped by the storage area in Rockport on the afternoon of 3/28/26. A 26 ft truck was in the parking area. I spoke with Tommyand ask about my reservation. He let me know he had spoken with Mary while I was one the phone with her earlier and had agreed to allow their “local” truck to be used for my one way move. The truck, as I said was sitting on the lot. I ask about picking up the truck at my original requested time of 6:30 AM and he told me how to get the keys out of the box and showed me where it was. I was surprised to see the truck in the lot given what Mary had said about it’s return. Tommy said “It happens to everyone sometime” and did not seem to care that I had made arrangements for a cross country move on a specific timeline. I arrived at my original time requested 06:30 only to find out by trial and error and multiple delays and phone calls, I could not get the keys to the truck until 12:30PM. This was the time Mary had put on my changed order she entered into the system because she told me the Storage Unit did not open until that time. I had three people making call to various telephone numbers in the dark parking lot trying to get the truck keys Tommy said would be available via the app at 06:30 AM. I finally got the truck and let the lot almost an hour later. To say that this poor service left a lasting negative impression is an understatement. I will not forget. Christine

Marc RThe manager left before closing time and I (67 yr old female) had a trailer to deliver that I had brought to South Texas as an equipment relocation service. I and my sister had no idea or the strength to get it off the hitch. The manager called her employee who did unhook it very quickly. The following day after I unloaded the truck I had brought my furniture in and went to return the it and moving pads the manager was very irked as a couple of moving pads were damp. She was acting as if I had gotten them soaking wet. I mentioned that there must have been some condensation due to the humidity as I had noticed they were damp too. She glared at me and said, "They’re more than damp". I explained that I had nothing but furniture and tile in the truck and nothing in there was wet but she acted very upset with me. It left a very bad taste in my mouth because I had not done anything to her moving pads.

James KMake sure you're effing trucks work properly and don't have warning lights and failing modules. Then make sure the phone staff that call and try to assess the situation are reasonable and are able to effectively communicate. This is all recorded I'm sure so I hope you would look into it. Carissa SAttendant there argued over and finally charged me for one gallon of gasoline after I had already spent $725 on the rental. Also drove 12 miles over the limit which I didn’t argue about. I think the charge for gas should have been dropped.

Kim JWe were contacted and asked if it was possible to return the truck a day early because someone was wanting to rent the the next day which was our scheduled return. We rushed getting it unloaded to get it back a day early only to be told we didn't get any kind of discount for returning it early at Uhauls request.
VALERIE MNobody told me I had to have two people vouch for me, which took time to take place. I called help and was on hold for almost an hour while I was paying movers to stand around because I couldn't get any help getting into the lock box. My next move will use equipment from a different location.

elton cLocation is awesome and the customer service is outstanding. WIndshield wiper fluid was dry. Can't go above 75 MPH, that was rough but i get it this rental was a bit pricy but i know the cost of everything is high right now, fuel + mileage cost ended up being more than i anticipated, but again, i get it. Economy is not our friend right now. thanks for being the best in town.

JUSTIN L5/16 of gas level is hard to determine. In the old days we started with a full tank you bring it back with a full tank…easy right? This was poor thinking on corporate part.

Andres GCindy went above and beyond to help me get the lights to work from my truck to the trailer. She worked with me when it was unsuccessful and made a new contract for me for the next day, so I wouldn't lose my travel time to where I needed to unload. She is very nice and accommodating!
