The first we got had no heat, the second we got the truck did not open. The person was working is not educated on the trucks not the smartest person. Need to hire someone who knows what is going on. He did not even know how to unstick a trolley from the ground.Dev S.

I forgot a 12inch by 18 inch piece of wood in the trailer when I dropped it off at night. And what do I get first thing in the morningâ€¦..a credit card notification that I was charged a $15.00 plus tax cleaning charge. WE LIVE IN A VERY UNFAIR WORLD it's not the money thing ITS THE PRINCIPALSALVATORE D.
They NEVER answer phone calls EVER!! Called from different numbers all morning over and over again and no answer. Arrived at 1:05 and door was closed with sign that said on lunch 1:30-2:30 but it wasn't even 1:30. And there were numerous people waiting to get service. When trying to get refund from amount that was held, I was getting the run around, if oh you might get it from uhaul, they take it from our account, then e transfer to you and blah blah, but when returned online it said go to location for refund. After arguing non stop I finally got my cash refund. (They had a bag with store cash for refunds and change, it only had 15$ in it, the remaining came out of one of the workers in the auto shops pocket). It's never customers first. My first time there I had a bad experience, this time was no better. This location is close to my house as to why I've gone, but NEVER AGAINTommy P.
Placed my order online and everything was smooth there using my visa debit. Went to the shop to pick the truck up and was told if I use my visa debit it's an extra $200 verses $0 on my credit card. There should be some consistency here to avoid frustration. I placed my order with visa debit as I didn't wanna use my credit card â€¦â€¦.nope I had to use the credit card in the end. Getting the truck it was dusty with some, what looked to be coffee, splattered on the ceiling.Melissa S.

I took truck from morningside and Sheppard location I just used 3 hour with 40km but they agent charged my $202 and revealed it my bank statement, there is lots of hidden charges , Such as Miles,service charge, gas charges and etc... I will never recommend this service and be very carefullrajan M.

I'm sooooo angry and will be calling tomorrow , first off we drooped it at Anne street in Barrie not the location you have here and I just saw another charge of 31.64 on my credit card that was done without my knowledge so 169.00 + 12.93 + 31.64 + 213.57 FOR A TRAILER RENTAL....It bloody would have been cheaper to just rent a 15 foot truck what the hell??????Joseph J R.

i rent between 4pm on 9 july 22 to 4pm on 10 july 22 at Sheppard road. One of the staff call me on around 10 Am on 9 July and they want to close early and asking me to come and get the key. when i go to get the key and i let himknow that i need to get on 4 pm to next day 4pm. he said to me that u get the key first and come to get the truck on 4 pm and we charge 24 hrs only. But when i check my credit was deduct 147.54 CAD. I contact to one of stuff of this branch, he explain that the system showin i picked on 10 Am july 9 and return on 4 pm july 10. He suggest to me call customer service and i try to call and i'm waiting for their call back. Why they made the customer got disappointment and waste for the time.aye T.
I was charged $25 cleaning fee when in fact I returned the truck in less than 2 hours and that too spotless. When I handed over the key to the guy, he was dealing with other customers and busy and said dont worry, you go and i will send you the receipt in email. So because of that I coudnt be there for him to inspect the truck in front of me. Two hours after I left, i got the receipt in my email with $25 extra cleaning fee. I actually filled the gas tank way above the point where i picked up, as I wanted to be nice. Really disappointed in uhaul, for advertising one thing, then throwing lots of hidden fees in the final bill.Kumar K.

The rental experience has been one of my worst. Little to do with the location, but more because my reservation was changed the day before Tina different location and later time. Totally unacceptable to not give any notice or options. Terrible experience.Matthew H.

Picking up the car was a hassle. I reserved a 15' Box Van for pick up at 7am and when i got there, they said it's only available at 10AM and had to change my rental to a 10'. I also rented a dolly but never got the code for the lock. Upon returning the truck, the person on the counter was rude and seemed to not have believed when I said i took a photo of the dashboard to prove that I have filled up the gas to where it was before and where the mileage was (he asked me 7 times to confirm that it was a recent photo from when i got out of the truck and not from before when I picked it up. Lastly, I picked up the truck with the mileage of 84840 MI and returned it at 84857 MI. On my receipt however, They charged me starting at 84838. An Extra 2 MILES! What a scam. I wont recommend this location anymore.Carlo S.

I had a reservation at 2:30 pm in 87 Thornmount Dr Unit 30 Scarborough , ON M1B 5S5 . I was there but no one where there i tried to call and no one answered! After 1 hour I finally can connect to some to send me another location!Raham G.
While the check in and return process was easy, the final outcome was not a good one. I have been renting from U-Haul for many years but first time at this location. I have always replaced fuel before returning the vehicle which I also did this time. I thought I had put enough to return the gauge to the original spot but maybe I didn't. I can accept that if the records show. However I put $30 in gas for the 51 miles driven. I was charged an additional $50 for gas basically suggesting that I used $80 in gas to drive 51 miles. It was just a negative ending to my usual satisfactory dealings with U-HaulJanet G.

Incompetent staff at this location. Did not properly prepare my order. I was missing both dolly's and my furniture pads so I had to move everything by hand. Then, when I went to return the truck the online return form insisted my mileage was "less than what I started my trip with" even though I was entering what was displayed on the truck. Seems like a lot of incompetence and funny business is going on at this location. Do NOT recommend. Go elsewhereTristan L.
