Location was not well marked, so was difficult to find, then once I pulled in, I didn't know where to go. I received my pick up time, tried to call to see if I could come a little later as I was at work, but no one answered the phone multiple times. Then they said when I got there they almost canceled my reservation. Truck was in ok shape, but definitely could have been better. Back wasn't swept, windshield was broken, alignment was off, just to name a few. Also, truck wasn't available at location I wanted, so I was charged extra for mileage.Michelle B.

The charges were and are invalid. I want a refund of the excess charges. The site violated the Uhaul contract terms. (truck/blankets said not available, service slow, written contract with Uhaul disregarded with verbal return time, accusations by owner to the customer for false charges of hurting the entrance gate (the charge disputed by his own employees, Gate was working fine at time of arrival and departure.) This is my first awful Uhaul experience, ever in my adult life.JOHN B.

Again I requested a drop off at the Uhaul store on Capital Blvd... expecting to have the truck inspected in my presence. My interaction for drop off was simply â€œ you can put the keys in the box.â€ It was a little Uneasy not having the truck check and not hearing from Uhaul for over a week, but hassle free. I cannot make a recommendation for pickup but drop off was fine.David M.

TERRIBLE. I'm a General Manager in the customer service industry and know what it takes to deliver +1 customer service, my experience with U-Haul was a total FAIL! Even after being confirmed 48 hours before my reservation, I arrived at my pickup location with NO truck! After verifying my pickup location at some â€œout of the wayâ€ auto location, the onsite manager shrugged it off like he didn't care and said the only truck he had was only for in town and my truck wasn't available? After pressing the auto manager to verify my order, he began to make me aware that the truck wasn't available and I might have to wait 1 hour? NO, I inquired about the â€œin townâ€ truck and after 20 minutes I finally drove off the lot with a truck that was 5' less than was confirmed just 48 hours earlier! U-Haul- just a word of advice...don't verify and confirm you have a product (truck) available when in reality you're not sure it'll be available.Justin Y.

I would give them a -zero if I could. I paid for the truck on-line thru the 1800 # and this location would not accept it although I had a receipt. They tried to charge me again. I had to get the customer service rep from the 1/800 # to call this location. They were rude, disrespectful, dismissive and obviously do not know uhaul's policies and procedures. Very unprofessional and I will never return to this location and will be advising others not to go there either. This one operation makes uHaul look poor although the customer reps thru the 1/800 were great. I had to call this location and 1/800 # a total of 6 times to get this matter resolved. As I said before, louisburg road location in Raleigh does not deserve anyone's business. -O rating!Bryson H.
Customer service was terrible. Truck wasn't ready when I got there and the customer service agent was like I can't help you because they U-Haul rep is not in today. I had to let him know that if he wasn't going to help I was going to call corporate on him. My reservation was done well in advance so it should have been ready when I got there.Karla M.
Not sure if it was the owners fault, but the truck was not ready for me as it had a lock on the cargo area. It took about 20 minutes to get the truck ready and then another 15 for the truck to be available to pick up via the app, after I called the owner to ask if it was ready. They were very nice, but it just took about 30-40 minutes to pick up a truck that should have taken 5.Kaila V.
Drive way not well marked as U-haul. I knew only because of the trucks on hill. Sign for building not to apparent. Usually the people inspect the truck on return to make sure everything is correct. They didn't. They just told me that I would receive a email confirming it's return.Heather A.

The truck was not where the last person left it according the picture. So it took a good amount of time to locate the correct truck. If personnel moves the truck, it should be in a clear spot. There was also a spider in the key box. Nothing against the spider (it's their home), but I would recommend cleaning the boxes to help prevent someone from getting bit or having a heart attack.Shanne F.
I reserved the truck online and completed the chceck I'm in advance. I arrived to the location only to be told I have to go through the app before the mechanic walked away from me. I then had to call several different numbers due to the website not working properly. After 45 minutes a representative was able to help me reserve the truck even though I told her that I wanted to go to another site due to how I was treated. After she gave me the information I went to get the key from the lock that was covered in a sticky substance I assumed was milkshake from the cup on the ground. I entered the dirty truck only to find that their was no furniture dolly and that I had to drive across town to get it. After returning the truck I had to call the number to check in again because of a website fail. The next day I was charged a cleaning fee because they claimed their were bags, foam from pipes and a furniture dolly left in the truck which was theirs. A complete disaster, I would never recommend this location. I would recommend Uhaul on Capital they tried to accommodate my needs.Coree J.

There quote of how much I had to give was off $300 more than what was quoted on the computer and also the information in which the call system called to verify. If one pays with a debit card you will have a hold on your card for a certain amount versus if you pay for the truck with a credit card (this was not explained up front to me). Call Center representative stated that boxes would be at this location and the employee stated that they only rented trucks. I had to end up going to another location to get boxes and other supplies. Employee assisted in getting the issue resolved communicating with his boss and I with the call center. Very Time Consuming. Thank goodness for emails and texts!Lee J.

The information (mileage and gas amount) for the truck wasn't updated from the last trip. I was told the truck had a full tank of gas, but confirmed it was left at 3/4. Because the app was not working the pick-up location told me to have the drop-off location to call them. I wasn't given any paperwork, nor was the miles verified. When I dropped the truck off, I explained the app and gas situation, drop-off location wouldn't call. I called and connected the two. Drop-off location confirmed the issue I brought up about the gas amount. Drop off location calculated approx 110 miles. The information for the truck was incorrect upon my pick-up and I was charged in additional 80 miles on top of my given 30 miles. My commute was from Raleigh to Durham One-way. Both locations used the incorrect data that I made pick-up location aware of, and they promised to make it right upon my arrival. I didn't have the truck long enough to make those miles, but I was charged for them, and was told they can only go off of what the computer says. Very frustrating experience to be charged an additional $38, and it's confirmed by pick-up location the gas amount entered was incorrect.CARLOS M.

Internet was down when we got to the place and couldn't check in ourselves. Then returning it (when love was closed) the website wouldn't recognize that my phone was sharing its location. Maybe I had something wrong but I wouldn't recommend self check in to anyone. Pretty much a mess. Other than that, location close to my house and good for picking up a sectional.Luke M.

I had a awful experience at this pickup location. First off, the location is an auto store but has more of a junk yard feel, and felt very sketchy. The inside of the store was also filthy. I arrived just before 8am (my pickup time), but the employee did not arrive to open the store until 8:10. There were three customers waiting with 8am reservations. Once the employee arrived, he took quite some time to get his computer set up, delaying things even more. Once it was my turn, the store's computer froze multiple times, causing me to have to re-enter the same information multiple times. While I know technical difficulties are hard to control, I was already running behind due to the employee's tardiness in arrival. The employee also did not explain to me what was happening with the computer, but just kept asking me to put my information in again. Very frustrating. I did not end up leaving with my uhaul until 8:45am, 45 minutes past my original reservation time. I would drive an extra half hour to rent from another siteâ€”it was that bad.Josie S.

He was contradicting with the information that was given to me in the beginning, once I dropped of the truck. Did not explain the charges that were on my invoice, it did not match charges I had.
