Truck was not prepared, Gas was recorded incorrectly, Dolly reserved was not available, multiple delays in checking out/receiving truck. One I finally got the keys for the truck, I was told padlock for the rear had already been removed from the truck and no code or padlock key we’re provided to me. Despite being told this, I found there to be a padlock locked on truck, making it impossible to open the back of the truck. Affiliate was not able to open promptly open padlock when issue brought to her attention. After delays, customer service representative asked if it was OK if she assisted some other customers in the meantime, I told her no we were running late I needed my issue taken care of promptly. She proceeded to help other customers anyways. I was asked to sign contract prior to getting access at the truck or being able to read the odometer or gas gauge of the truck. All of these issues caused significant delays, yet I was told by the affiliate that I would incur an extra charged for being late for pick up, when I was not late. It was an infuriating experience

I was given two different prices for the miles over 30, and that was the only problem one person told me $.40, but when I returned they told me $.99. That was the only problem two different prices to different people.

Train independent stores on Uhaul updates to truck rentals & billing process, so there no "double billing" see email below Hello In regards receipt emailed Friday, after viewing Bank account I attempted to call Uhaul yesterday Saturday morning but was on hold over 15 minutes. There's issue with billing of being charged two times $69 & 30 fees which in all other times of renting in past month hours our full day- its the same daily rate + miles used, but this is first time of two separate fees or that I've heard a Store say "late charge altho I called before the 6 hours to let them know it'll be few more hours & to update it as daily rental- the same $30 we'd be billed. He didn't know How to do this & stayed he'd call his Rep. We then get a call few hours later "questioned when am I bringing back truck"? As if where done something wrong & Never received a call in the past renting from uhaul storage or independent store. Please correct this billing & properly train store representatives of Uhaul or we'll take business elsewhere or buy our own truck. Thanks Elizabeth 630 755- 1262
