March 22, Friday, 10 foot truck picked up @ 5 PM @ 3800 Goldenrod Rd & dropped it off @ 8:30 PM @ one of 4 locations near me which was provided by Royal Tire on Goldenrod. Tuesday received a call saying truck wasn’t returned. A woman @ the 800# of UHaul said I was provided with a particular address for drop off. That is not true! Royal Tire gave me a paper with 4 addresses. At no time was I told to go to a certain drop off. We chose one close that was still open. This was my first experience with UHaul and I’ve been left with a bad taste in my mouth . Joe and Wanda with UHaul couldn’t have been nicer, but it only takes one rotten apple to spoil the barrel. Wanda has initiated an investigation.for me. We were told by return location @ 1240 N Orlando Ave., Winter Park that the paper work handed to them was torn up. Sunoco, Sunshine Food Mart, UHaul need to get their act together. A good name is earned & can be destroyed so quickly. MS Finch Gore

Michael FalkeLocation was less than presentable. The trailer in question that I rented was hooked up by personnel from the location. I was assured that it was ready to go when I arrived at my destination I realized that the brake switch was in the position and that the brakes had been locked for over 5 miles. They were extremely hot and had a burning smell. I had to lubricate the springs myself and force the lockinto the normal operating position. Once that was completed, the trailer operated fine. But I feel that it was a safety issue and should’ve been checked by the dealership before I left.
Vance FlummerThe seatbelt didn’t work some of the time. Also, they said it was your policy to charge me $30 if the gas fell below quarter of a tank. The problem is that when I got the van the gas was right at a quarter of a tank. And I think this is a horrible policy because I literally only went 15 miles and was just gonna pay the 4.50 per gallon to get you guys to fill it back up but Since you didn’t put a lot of gas in it in the beginning, I had to drive it through a gas station which didn’t feel safe to me. It’s just another way big corporations like yours are trying to screw over their customers.

Samuel TorresThe utility dolly was NOT in the truck at the time I picked up the truck and since it was after hours I couldn't do anything about it. It was a major inconvenience to lift boxes without it. I paid $7.00 for an equipment that was not provided. I believed that part of the checkout process should required that the previous customer provides pictures of the rental equipment at the moment of return of the truck this will allow for accurate description of what will be included in the truck for the next customer.

Elier CruzThe trailer rental experience and usage was easy. The problem started at the time to deliver the trailer to the U-Haul location selected. U-Haul does not have the updated and acurate active and working location nationwide and I was advised to return it to a different location. The pickup placea gave me a different serial number trailer which created a problem in the system at the time of return. Luckily the Lake Worth U-Haul was able to fix it and provide me with a receipt. The computer system is out of date, needs an update and they need to fix their current working locations and quality of work.

When u went to return the truck, I returned it during work hours but there was Noone there to assist and the place was closed. There was no place to really park the truck either so I did the best I could to park it out off the way.

Geraldine AllenThe back of the uhaul was in terrible shape I wish I would have checked it before I was so far away. Dead roaches more then 3 in the back and lizards the biggest problem was the ant infestation it is large appears to be fire ants and now are still coming from my couch here and there will need to spray or throw away my couch as they clearly were able to get in hidden areas of my couch in the 40 minute drive. This is so disgusting I will never rent here again. Large spider was living in the back and I had to kill it before I could move anything in the back was not cleaned or checked before my arrival and I didn’t look till it was too late. This is unacceptable and embarrassing.
