Despite being during business hours, there was no one at this facility to assist with my rental. I therefore had to call U-Haul for assistance. While the phone rep was friendly and tried to be helpful, we had great difficulty getting the lock box open so that we could access the truck key. We finally were successful, but the truck itself had automatic transmission issues. It shifted very roughly from first to second gear, and made loud vibrations at highway speeds.

Paige BThere was no one from U-Haul at the location to help me hook up and check the operation of the trailer. The person working in Rush Foods tried to call someone named Jeff but there was no answer, so he gave me Jeff’s number and asked me to call, but still no answer. I ended up calling a different U-Haul number and they told me Jeff was on vacation for the week and they asked me if I was ok hooking the trailer up myself, which I did. I hooked up the trailer and someone called me and asked me to send a picture of my hookup. Had I not been capable of hooking up the trailer myself I’m not sure what would have happened.
