My last rental, the truck had no A/C and there was a hole in the floor of the back of the truck covered by sheet metal which go down when you stepped on it and would come back up when your foot was off of it, which created a major safety hazor for both walking and rolling this in and out of the truck. U-haul cancelled my truck reservation one day before the moving date when I had booked both elevators in two buildings. This imposed too much pressure on our shoulders.Aydin J.
The location was good with convenient parking. The truck itself was on it's very last leg. It made lots of noise during driving. The battery was so bad that it died on us. Fortunately, there was a nice mechanic nearby that helped fix it fast and for free. The outside of the truck had lots of scratches and hasn't been washed for a long time. The inside was full of dust from previous customers, but fortunately, out furniture was covered in plastic, so it didn't get dirty. The check in and check out was easy.Sina R.

Add more gas to the trucks; that was too little for the extra distance we have to drive because uHaul decided to switch our location last minute... Yeah, had to drive an extra hour for a truck... it would have been nice to know you didn't have a truck when I booked it. Such an inconvenienceAlyssa F.

Second week in a row experience. Customer service at the front desk is great. The cargo van is extremely dirty and in a very poor condition. Seems like these vans are used for garbage disposal and not for moving. Leaks, bad smell and sand. Front passenger cabin is full of dust and stains. It would be useful to add an option for clients to add pictures to the review to show proof of the vans. Hope this gets looked at.ALBERT P.

We usually rent a cargo van at this location and never had issues with cleanliness. This time the van was so dirty we spent an hour cleaning before Usage. Seems like Noone checked it after previous rental. Will give them another try to see if it was a one time thing.ALBERT P.

This is specific to the location Rust Check Centre Richmond Hill on 426 Major Mackenzie, absolutely worst service I have ever received and will not recommend UHaul for the following reasons: 1) They were said to open and no one was at the location, therefore this delayed my plans by over an hour as I was never given the combination for the keys 2) After over half a dozen transfers between customer service, they key combination that was provided led to two key boxes that opened WITHOUT ANY KEYS. As a result of this, customer service initially was going to downgrade us to a cargo van. Only after subsequent pushback they were able to find a 20 Foot Truck all the way in Vaughan. Due to the Rust Check at Major Macks delay, this led to major inconvenience in my move especially as I booked an elevator. The over 1.5 hour delay made this a horrible location + very poor customer service/and very unresponsive. I will not be using the U-Haul location at Richmond HIl and will not recommend it to anyone.Houman T.

I didn't receive the furniture dolly I rented, and the customer service line was taking forever, I ended calling for more helpers to help me move. The location never picked up phone calls, I disagreed with the final payment, but they somehow still managed to charge my credit card. Worst experience ever.Shuo X.

Keys in lock box were for the wrong truck... make sure keys in box are for the right truck stop renting trucks out that have less than 1/8th of the fuel tank full... why doesn't the phone app for U Haul work in Canada? its 2022 there's no excuse to not have the app working when you operate in Canada and promote the app on your website my cousin makes phone apps, if you guys need help call me and i'll put you in touch...................Joseph T.

Don't accept a booking at a location when it is not available. I booked atone location, but when I went to pick up my truck, the reservation directed to me another location. Since I pad per KM this cost me more money. Finally - fix your app. It is a piece of garbage. It's barely useful and does not work when trying to pickup a reservation. Both times I rented, I had to do it in a browser, instead of through the app.ALBERTOJ H.

Very unprofessional. They called me 30 minutes prior to my pick up time to tell me we don't have the car you booked. They asked me to pick up the car from another location which is 25 minutes away from my booked spot. More interesting, they charged me for distance fee ,to and from the new location .Ali A.
