The young man I interacted with was clearly having a bad day. He showed no warmth or interest at all. Never made eye contact and said that I have to pay extra because I was a day late. I communicated that I picked up the truck this morning and that it was impossible for me to be late. He said his information says so and that I will be charged more. When I said I can show him confirmation, he did not care and complained that the computer has not been working all day. Sure I get that things like this happen, but there was no compassion or concern. He was not trying to be solution oriented or apologetic for a possible oversight. I by no means want to get him in trouble or fired but some coaching would be helpful for him so he can become customer focused. Other than this the location was fine.

They didn't have a Uhual available when I went to pick it up at the time I reserved, then when I dropped it off they were trying to charge me for 2 days (had it for 5 hours). One of the employees was very rude and came across as racist. Absolutely terrible customer service and they try to scam people.

Horrific experience. Called by Joann on 8/30, said no trucks in Palmyra for my 8/31 reservation, told to p/u at Middletown the evening of 8/30, the young man who waited on us was unprofessional, argumentative and highly defensive. This occurred on 8/30, about 7:45 - 8:00 PM. I asked to speak with his supervisor and responded that no one was there. I asked his name and he refused to provide it. On 8/31, we went to Lebanon U-Haul at 6:55 AM, spoke with Brandon Gibble, he called and then said a truck was waiting for us for an 8AM p/u in Middletown. Therefore, we finally got it and appreciated the service Brian Gibble provided. Very unpleasant experience. Dr & Mrs C. The person that helped us at the counter not only didn’t give the truck size we reserved for online but we had to have the truck back by 10. This doesn’t make sense since uhal contracts are suppose to be for 24 hours. He then proceeded to say that even though someone need it tomorrow by 8 if we returned it later than 10 we are going to get hit with fees. I am very unhappy with the service that was provided. I don’t recommend this location what so ever.

Not the locations fault. I was switched to this location at the day before pick up and the equipment was brought in from another location. The car dolly had a defective ramp the caused damage to my cars front bumper and I was not able to use it to transport my vehicle.

I had to switch my pick-up location because I do not use a smart phone. I prefer to deal with people because I can ask them questions if need be. I cannot do this with a smart phone. When I made my reservation, the service agent should have ask me if I was ok with this. I was already on the road from NY to PA when I found this out. When I arrived in PA, I was able to contact this office and the gentlemen there was able to transfer my reservation and accommodate me at his location. When I arrived for my pick-up, all was ready for me, all questions answered, a few before I even got to the end of my question. I was VERY HAPPY with his knowledge and helpfulness, as I was very nervous..A REAL PRO!!! I hope you let this office know what a great job they did.

Truck would shift by itself, when going up or down hill. Had to shift manually into neutral then back to drive, otherwise stuck in third gear. Dangerous to drive! When I complained to rental company, they said it was not their responsibility, but I heard an employee state, that is the truck we have been experiencing problem with, ( so why was it rented to me?????)....

The staff was great as they worked with me on a daily basis to fulfill my needs. I ended up renting the van for an entire week on a day to day basis because my needs kept changing. they made it easy and were happy to help me. A big Thank You to the Middletown, PA location !!
