Get rid of the in town drop off, kind of defeats the whole purpose of renting a moving truck. When you know a large portion of your consumers relocate out of the town that they're renting your equipment from. Very frustrating to be told 2 days before relocating that we now have to bring the truck back an hour from our new home to avoid an upcharge..

Tim D.After returning the uhaul I returned home and couldn't find my debit card I used to put gas in the uhaul before returning it. I called as soon as I realized my card was missing. The lady said she didn't see a card when she went to go inspect the truck upon returning it. About 20min later I get a phone call and it was her saying that it didn't sit right with her so she went back out in the truck and looked again and moved the seats and found it! She said the uhaul place was closed but she was there till 9. I said I could be there in 10 min, she was waiting outside with my card. She truly was the sweetest and went above and beyond and I absolutely appreciate it!!!

James S.When I was forced to return the pickup because this location refused to extend my rental - that was horrible. No bungee cords to sell to fasten things, and no public restrooms. The staff lady with the crazy dyed hair had an ugly attitude. Now that my car is finished and the Uhaul returned so glad to avoid that location now. Terrible location, what business refuses customers use of their restrooms? The van pulled and I thought it would break down, the metal in the back fell, smelled like smoke.

Then when I asked her how many miles the truck gets to the gallon she just ignored me. I asked again and told her what a normal car gets. She just looked at me. I asked if she could have a manager reach out to me she just shrugged her shoulders. She was not rude but didn't help or seem to want to help.
Angel M.U-Haul royally messed up our rental. We reserved a 26 foot truck but upon arriving to pick it up; it was not there. This is because U-Haul decided to double book this truck with overlapping drop off and pickup times. Upon raising this concern the best the customer service did at U-Haul was give us $50 off. Ridiculous! And not happy at all.

The original 10' truck did not arrive at my scheduled pick-up time; however, the staff at this location in Middletown made sure that I was able to get a different truck within an hour without me having to drive to a different location--it ended up being a 15' truck at the same price as the 10' one! The truck was spotless and made my moving experience a good one.

Anthony G.The quickest and most seamless transaction I have ever had with a U-Haul dealer. We are military, so we move ALOT and I was very impressed with the service. The truck was the cleanest U-Haul truck we have ever rented and this was the first time the truck was pulled up to the front door, the gas tank was full and the young man even had the heater turned on so we were able to hop into a warm truck that was ready to go.

When I picked up the truck initially, the sales rep was terse and ill-informed about U-Haul's offerings. My drop-off experience at the end of the day was better; it was a different rep and they were much more pleasant. Overall, the U-Haul stuff seemed to be one small corner of a much larger operation focused on tour buses.

Don B.I have used uhaul many many times and have never had an issue. I am extremely disappointed with this transaction. The uhaul odometer said 505 when I parked it. And now I am being charged that it was at 518? I took a picture of the odometer that said “505 miles†so I do not understand how I can be charged for more. Needless to say it was incorrect to begin with. It says I drove 90 miles. When there is no way geographically possible that that was the case, as I simply picked up something and brought it back to my house. The location was 15 miles each way. Making it 30, sure add another 10-15 in there for driving to get gas. At most I had driven 50 miles and that is even generous. I can provide you with the exact location address and miles I drove to. I am extremely disappointed to be up charged an additional 40 miles. Needless to say I will not be using this uhaul location ever again and will be sure to leave this as a review of my service.
Mariah S.while the location that had the vehicle was acceptable, the experience was a joke. I reserved (and received confirmation) for a truck that was in a location 22 miles away. It was reserved for 7AM and I had movers lined up. I ended up getting a truck at 8:30 a half hour away.... meaning that I paid movers for 2 hours and had nothing for them. The 800 number verified that the original location was ok at 7:10AM... saying "just wait til 8", only to find out at 8 that it had been moved the night before! It added insult to then need to make the trip AGAIN to return the truck when it was not my error! Additionally... I was told the rate would be dropped to .29 cents a mile, and the bill charged the original amount. Very bad service, and the girl at the new location was rude and her only comment was that "this happens every weekend".
