I had a reservation before that that I canceled because I've done this before and I talked to four different people and I'm going to look at my notes right now to see what day it was but they were ignorant and rude I thought it was on mother's Day I remembered now seriously. I talked to 2 chat agents, but they were rude and said I couldn't do what I was doing cuz it had to be in Jeffrey's name my son who was the driver I rented it he was a designated driver, because I don't feel comfortable driving a truck that big so it was for my move but they were ignorant rude and nasty so I hope he's really do record the conversations cuz look them up, they came from 717-446-2361, and then I canceled it because they were just not well informed, so I called in and I talked to two different people, and they were the same way. What was a guy and one was a girl the first two were girls. So the people that man you want 1-800 number and your chat agents they need to be taught how this works I can rent it I can list my son as a the driver but I'm responsible for it they're like you can't do that, I'm like I've moved four times in the last year, yes I can and they were just ignorant and obnoxious and I actually called other places to start the process to grab a rental there. Which I would have done but your prices were definitely a lot better I'll give you that. But whoever I talk to you on the phone and in chat they're ignorant rude and obnoxious to be honest. So I'm going to at this point I was happy because I was able to call in down there and do it I just wanted to make sure everything was in my name not my sons because he had to show his license I mean I showed my ID too, but when I called in till like cancel it too the guy was like well can I speak to Jeffrey I'm like well the car it's registered under my name and my card, he's like what we need to speak to Jeffrey I said well you know what how's this go ahead and try to run that card because I screenshot everything you run that card in my name I'm telling you I'm calling and reporting it and blocking it it will be theft. He's like can't you just get him I'm like he he has nothing to do with it he's just the driver and he is upstairs sleeping because he had the covid shot, and he wasn't feeling well no I wasn't going to go wake him up. I ordered it it was in my name on my card so go ahead and run it! Because I would have filed charges. So I canceled online it was even my email they just put it in his name because he was listening as the primary driver well yeah I don't want to drive it. You need to school your people better. That was the worst experience I've ever had with you and I should have known better I should have just went in and did it in person I was just trying to save time. Actually what I had asked the reason I had called? Was because I wanted to know if he could if we could like take care of the pre pick up stuff ahead of time because he had his daughter that day and I didn't want to waste time in the office.v I just wanted to give the info that they needed for like the mortgage and stuff like that ahead of time for his license and stuff they were not very nice they weren't. If I can find another place comparable to your rates I will use it in the future. But as for Middletown where I picked it up at or where he picked it up at and I was with, they were excellent. You need to have more people like that handling your stuff. And actually the phone calls were made Sunday at 7:22 a.m. and 748 a.m. exactly is when they called was initiated so I'm hoping you can figure out who they were because I'll tell you what I'm sure you've lost people because of them.Kelly S.

The gas tank was already at a certain level however, when I returned the truck after under 10 miles I was charged for the difference between full and that level even though it was no where near the amount of gallons used. This appears to be purposeful. When the manager was addressed regarding this, he disclosed that they use a scanner, and there is nothing he could do about the overcharge. The fraudulent gas charges should stop, or the AGs office will be contacted.CHRISTOPHER F.

Truck cab dirty. Passenger side wiper blade rubber falling off. Every other time I have rented a uhaul I was given an explanation of how to use the equipment and walked around it with employee. That did not happen this time. If it's bc of the pandemic, say that. I was given the key and felt dismissed. Not even a statement to come back in if I had questions.Stacie S.

We were happy with the rental and condition of the vehicle and ease of renting. The only issue was the day we were returning the truck someone tried to charge our credit card for $1300 without our consent and with a name other than uhaul. We had no idea was the charge was. Then when the $1300 was rejected, they tried $300 then $87. It seemed shady and unprofessional.Harlan H.

Our vehicle was towed from the Vine Street location in Pennsylvania, costing us over 325$!!! On top of that, they took our U-Haul truck loaded with commercial glass and said that it was reported abandoned! Leaving us stranded in Baltimore Maryland! This is one of the worst experience I have ever had!!! Who is going to help us with the contract we lost over the glass!??? Who's going to help us with impound fees for our Jeep?!!! Quick and easy. They had what I requested through the website. Suggest adding a notice to bring in your insurance card if you decided not to pay for their insurance coverage and you're picking up the rental during office hours. My reservation was for the 24/7 service with a mobile device. That doesn't exist at the location. And nothing in my confirmation indicated this disconnect. Every instruction I had was for the mobile experience. I spent 15 minutes going through and endless loop of dead in ends online while on hold with someone at the 800 number - as it wasn't clear that there was anyone on site. The signage (premiere limousine) doesn't match the location in the confirmation (redbone) and there is no visible uhaul signage outside at night. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Update your reservation system so that the mobile option isn't available for this location. And do so now!!!!!Julie G.

Everything was good, however I informed the location I would have the vehicle an extra 3hrs(returned in 2.5) and was charged a full extra day. If anything it should have be prorated; I was not informed of this when I called in.Kimdu G.

On the web, it lists a 12 pack of pads for $10. I told them I wanted 2 12 packs, I received 2 6 packs. Since I didn't know there were only 6 in a pack, I thought I had everything I needed. As we were loading the truck, we ran out of pads and I realized what happened. I went to my local dealer in Denver, about a 2 minute drive from my house. It took FOREVER to get more pads because they had to do a second rental agreement. Now I am concerned that I will be charged for the second set of pads not being returned.Tracy L.

Spoke with 3 different associates. 1 commented on the online experience and their lack of interest in it. I stated that a transmission light was on and she stated she knew but that's what happens when you do it online. The 2nd associate def lacked in customer service. When I questioned about the bill or asked about a printed receipt, her comment was â€œyou will have to wait a bit!â€ And very huffy. Not the way I would expect to be treated. The building and cleanliness were very nice and above others I had visited. They had useful products for us to purchase and the prices were clearly stated. I always like to see that.Shelly C.
