Picked up on a Saturday and facility was closed. No communication that it would be a mobile pickup and took almost an hour on the phone with customer support to complete the pickup. UNSAT

Maria Aldana Oppizzi1. The mobile app did not work and I had to call 800 number to get my van, took over 45 minutes. 2. The van was filthy in cargo area and interior was filled with dog hair on seats and smelled.
MICHAELK KALESTIVehicles need to be checked that the interior lights in the dashboard and cab work. I drove at night with a truck with lights that were not working properly and it was scary. Also hard to do accurate reading on the dashboard instruments!

The only negative if the process was actually reserving it via your app. STOP TRYING TO SELL ME EXTRA SHIT. If you want, fine but ONE SCREEN stop giving me like 4 screens of extra crap. I know what I need and just want to make the reservation.

Raul FolgarHonestly- just don’t offer the 24/7 self service option until it is functional. We showed up to pick up our rental to find out that the location hadnt assigned us a vehicle. We then had to go to another location, where it was extremely confusing and we struggled to find out vehicle and obtain it. Luckily there were people on site that could help. We were 40 minutes late as a result.

Eileen McClainWe rent often, the check in process this time around was awful. It took 30 mins. The van doors were jamming and the front seats were covered in dog hair. The tire light was on and the right rear blinker was not working. We will go back to white plains a book earlier. It's a shame.

william keaneWould not recommend any location until you fix the app. The app is inconsistent. Too many glitches. Takes too long to check in. Absolutely too many steps. Also no easy way to know gas level if you didn’t record it upon check in.
Peter BelascoNot the fault of the rental location, but the van handled pretty poorly. The suspension made it seem like I was riding on a trampoline. This made it a bit difficult to drive. But the van interior was clean and nothing was broken and everything worked. So it did the job.

The office was clean and efficient, the rental process was quick but he took ample time to make sure I understood how to use the truck. The 15' box truck was pretty ancient, noisy, and the transmission sounded really tired. I guess I just got an exhausted vehicle. All else was great.

david grossmanWhen I signed up, I signed up for 08:30 hours on May 24, 2023. When I went to pick up the truck at 08:30, it told me it was unavailable, and I signed up for 08:30 PM, Which in my book was 20:30 Hours. Then the mobile app was down yesterday. Then I saw someone in the store, who would change it for me, but the computer system he needed to change was down for more hours. I was able to leave at 10:20 AM, and the plan was still down. The system returned around 3:30 or 15:30 hours to complete the paperwork. When I picked up the truck, I expected to have it for three days and do 50 miles, and the charge would be $153.00 and that was the hold on my card and it had just less than 3/4 of a tank of gas. I returned the truck 26 hours later, 41 miles later, and filled the car with fuel or $67.02 gas. A different store clerk was there when I returned it and they said since I had it one day, not three, and since I only put on 41 miles and not 50, and since I filled up the truck all of the way with fuel, U-Haul would only charge me $100.97 and I would save $52.00. It was great to have the vehicle, but I think I still need to credit something for fuel; I was only credited for having it back two days early (since it was $31.00 per day), and it was 9 miles less than expected. So, I am thankful for U-Haul, but their system leaves a lot to be desired.

MEREDITH HANSONI had an awful time booking this and picking it up. I booked for 1 location but another one as well as the one I booked were confirmed. I went to the one I booked and then the app said it was at the other location. I ended up having to call a number of times from the lot and then a alternate vehicle was provided after a number of calls and frustartion. Nothing went smooth with the return as well.

Fausto VidalThe interior of the truck wasn’t as clean as I would have expected and the ignition of the truck was very difficult to turn the key to the point that I thought I was given the wrong key, and was afraid to turn the motor off at my stops. It was difficult to start every time.
