If the option is given to turn in a truck anywhere is given... I should not be getting a text telling me where to take the truck. Uhaul did this and made it difficult to get truck turned in without several phone calls.MICHELLE R.

This Store was filthy and the woman working the counter on 3/22/20 at 1pm was too lazy to walk outside because it was raining and she had her children at work to check me out when I returned. Instead she charged me a cleaning fee when there was absolutely nothing left in the vehicle. She was not ethical or honest and I will never go back to this dirty store.Jason S.
This is nothing against the location itself, but against UHaul. My pick up location changed 4 times over night because they couldn't get a 26' truck when I made the reservation 2 weeks prior, I had to settle for downgrading to a 20' truck and squeezing what I could into a friends pickup. On top of that their was no equipment available when I requested 2 dollies. There was only 35 furniture pads when I requested 4 dozen. This entire UHaul moving experience has been the worst I have ever had and I will never recommend UHaul to any of my friends or family.Zach F.

We booked via telephone through corporate (one way rental) and were told a truck would be available in a location in Bessemer, AL. When we got there, it was a very small used car lot (only 1 car for sale) and the woman was fairly new to U-Haul rentals and had to repeatedly call her U-Haul contact to walk her through various tasks. As it turned out, the truck they had was only for round trip/local rentals. After much waiting, U-Haul set us up with the McCalla, AL location, and they were wonderful. There were drugs in the truck when I picked it up and I rode home with my 18 year old little sister in it without knowing. When I found it in the morning I was told U-Haul doesn't clean the cabin and I can file a police report. I also got extra charges for things I shouldn't have been. Overall very unimpressed and dissatisfied with my experience and would like to be reached out to at any time. I expected more from such a main stream company.Anabella P.

We were told we had been removed from system at time of pick up, had to be reentered to pick up vehicle. Did not have any gas in the vehicle and was told that was how it was delivered , that is how it should be taken back. We did only to be told we were given a credit of 34 dollars because it was on empty but we were NOT told that, so when we bring it back empty, we are now charged 34 dollars. AND TOLD THERE WAS A 100 DOLLAR FEE RO BE REIMBURSED WHICH WAS NOT SAID WHEN WE ORG SCHEDULED THE TRUCK. SO NOT COOL!! OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN ONE HEADACHE AFTER ANOTHER!!Earl P.

I was originally suppose to pick up the rental truck in Ensley Alabama ,which was closer to where I needed to be. I did not get a email concerning the change. I had to call because I had questions. but I was given more mileage to make up for the distance. The person in McCalla also gave more mileage and I was given a new truck with only 1114 miles. He was very accommodating and answered all my questions etcBobbie M.
