General U-Haul feedback: Provide ratchet straps. Also, let customers know how many gallons equals a 1/4 tank of fuel. A back-up camera would be helpful. Let customers know specifically how early they can check out (i.e. start the process and turn the key in the truck), and how long returns take, and the process of returns. Make extensions of time an easier process to access/look up. Thanks for all you do! This was a great location.
Jessica BMy rating is NOT for this actual location. This location was great and would receive a 5 star review. The reason for my 2 star review is based on the U-haul app and website and their lack of support through customer service. We had made a reservation for an early morning pickup knowing we would need to use the app to pick-up our reservation. It took us almost 2 hours before we could complete the process of picking up our truck. This included trying and waiting on the U-haul app, the U-haul website, as well as being on the phone waiting for customer service to help, and then having to go into a U-haul location for live help. The process that was supposed to be quick, easy, and convenient was anything but that. Keep this in mind if you plan on picking up your reservation using the app.

Ammon CYou guys absolutely robbed and scammed me. You had me drive all the way across Pocatello to pick up a trailer to bring it back to Cache Valley because you guys rented it to a different customer and then you did not give me the $50 you promised, you did not give me a hundred driving miles for free, and I was charged for every bit of time I had the vehicle I was not given a day for free. I'm going to go on Google and pilot and all of the major review sites and leave appropriate negative reviews about this corporation scamming poor people getting us to do your freaking work for free promising us that you would reimburse us for a little bit of what we gave you for cash and then you rob us. It's so pathetic that you guys Rob from the poor to get your work done and have a trailer transported to another state and then rob me. They should have known better than to trust a fraud facade cardboard box corporation in the clown club.
STERLING T$1 per mile is insanity. No way that is reasonable.
Michael SClean and inviting? Not even a little bit there was a massive fence around the entire thing and it took me forever to find an open gate to drive through. Personnel helpful? Not in the slightest there wasn’t a single person there to assist. Would I recommend the location? Brother I wouldn’t recommend your service to ANYONE after this, regardless of location. You made renting a truck SO difficult for us that we are going to be buying a flatbed and a truck to haul it just to avoid ever needing to go through the process of trying to rent a truck from you again.

Jerica JThe starting fuel level on the vehicle was below the reported level in the contract. This happened when renting this time and one previous time from the same location. It was easy to adjust online when confirming the condition, but was a little inconvenient.

david bI’ve moved a LOT and I mean more than most humans should ever have to move in a lifetime. This was by far the nicest cleanest most well kept U-Haul place I’ve ever been to. On top of that, the people are incredibly kind helpful and fast at getting you in and out. 10 out of 10 all around!
Erin BCharged me for moving blankets I never received. The refueling practices are predatory. You give customers 3/4 tank intentionally because either they overfill your vehicle with free gas for you or they underfill the tank and you can charge them $10 a gallon. Absolutely bullshit. You already charge a $1.25 per mile driven, is that not enough for your monopoly man level of corporate greed?

Kyle KThe U-Haul was sticky on the seats, dash board, steering wheel, floors, and cup holders. It also had a nasty smell. This should have been caught before we used it, even if the previous customer said it was ready for use. Not a good move.

Sara JWhen I went to return the truck, there was no one there, they had a sign saying they were out to lunch. I returned later, when they said they'd be back and they were still gone. I was told to press a button and someone else would help me. The young woman who came just took the key from me and said they'd email me if they had any questions. I was a little leery as they usually do a check with me to ensure that everything is okay. So, I just thought it odd.

The staff was helpful easy easy easy I was running late to an appointment so I wasn’t able to alert the staff of the issue and that’s part of the reason I’m doing this review now so that another family doesn’t have to endure the difficulties of driving in the winter with no windshield wiper fluid and or a broken windshield wiper nozzle pump system.
