The location was fine and the counter staff was excellent. But overall, dealing with your company is like being strong-armed by the mafia. I don't like it, but I don't have an alternative choice. You changed my pickup location and day because of equipment availability, and didn't tell me that my flexibility would stick me with $1.29/mi Saturday rate when I'd specifically reserved a truck for Sunday to get the $0.99 rate. Then I got stuck with a bigger truck than I needed because your equipment didn't work (more gas/operation costs). Then I was told over the phone that I should've booked a one-way with same origin/destination instead of an in-town move because the mileage I needed would've been cheaper as an overall experience...but we couldn't cancel my reservation and start over because that location (again, not my choice, the location I was sent to because of equipment availability) didn't have trucks available for one-way moves...even though the suggestion by your staff was to move one-way back to the origin. If the option isn't available, don't give me the info just to tease me. I feel like you strong-armed me, and I hate you. Every time I deal with your company, I give 50-50 odds that I'm going to get railroaded. I guess I was overdue this time, so I got a lot in one dose. I hate you once for all the reasons I've itemized...you suck. And I hate you twice because I can't afford to live without you...but one day I'll buy my own truck and trailer and never speak to you again.Matthew T.
I returned it with the same amount of gas yet I was charged for gas. Unbelievable. The guy I rented it from was nice and knew what he was doing. The lady who was there when I checked it in would not check the truck until I left, even though there were no other customers around.Barry C.

Have them explain where the gas hand is When I came In there the guy showed me the paper only to see that where I was told the gas started at it really didn't an for that I had to pay 36$ that was such an inconvenience I will never use U-Haul again now will I send anyone thereKameisha B.

The only thing i can think of is to have more auto transport equipment available in the area. There are 6 UHaul locations much closer to me and they had nothing. Although The Salisbury location and staff were excellent to deal with. Worth the trip.DANIEL B.
I spent DAYS calling several companies for a truck to rent. Many offices didn't answer the phone, nor return my calls/messages. I spoke with corporate numbers and reps that didn't want to help, only wanted to sell more. The Penske & Busget companies said we would need to rent 2-4 trucks for a move from a 1500sq. ft. house. (The only people I could get on the phone for them was the corporate number.) Even though Salisbury was much further away, and we drove by 8-10 other UHaul rentals, we chose to go there because of Tim. We initially hadn't planned to go that far, but Tim was recommended to us. He had a customer at the time, but took my information and promised to call back in a few hours. He called back almost immediately, had several options, and made sure what we rented was the best deal and was available when needed. I've heard horror stories of people securing a rental and it not being there with other places. We had no issues and Tim even made sure it was available the day before so we could start earlier. I can't say enough wonderful things about Tim, his coworker (I apologize I forgot her name), and that facility. We will definitely be back in the future for all of our rental needs!gina W.

You can't possibly do anything to improve the service at the Salisbury location. Everything was PERFECT. Tim is amazing and made sure everything was there that morning. Great guy and takes pride in what he does. This world needs more Tims. Give the man a cigar and a huge raise. I need him at a bunch of places that I shop and deal with. When I picked the truck up I explained that I might be later than 24 hours (but that was all I could request online), the counter lady explained that no-one was renting it after me so that was ok. I had the truck for a total of 27 hours later, 3 more than expected, and because of this was charged a whole additional day but was not informed of this charge till I received a copy of the bill. If I was going be charged for the additional day then I should NOT have received phone calls reminding me that I was overdue on returning the truck.MARIA D.

wish you offered a lower rate for fewer days and not a min. of 5 days. We only used 3 days. Wring harness to trailer has a short in right blinker causing intermittent alarms during our entire trip.JEFFREY B.

At pickup it would be helpful to reiterate what time the Uhaul needs to be returned. Otherwise the document goes in the UHaul/vehicle and is never looked at until we show up to turn in the UHaul.MICHAEL A.

The actual location was incredible. They were friendly, clean and quick. Unfortunately I'm unhappy with Uhaul corporate. I reserved this truck for a 6am pickup and the website went down. I was not notified by uhaul at all. I stayed on hold for an hour and couldn't get anyone. This caused a HUGE problem with my day and feel I should get reimbursed for the major inconvenience of having to wait 3 hours to pickup the rental truck!ANTHONY D.

This was the 2nd time I've rented from them. The 1st was a good experience, this 2nd time was not good. I was charged $89.10 for a vehicle I had 1 and a half hour, $25 clean up charge for popcorn in the floor that I didn't put there, $15 for gas and I brought it back on a full tank. The owner wanted to argue with me and said I was lying. He didn't even walk out with me to check the truck before I left like he did the 1st time I rented. He says they sweep and clean the vehicle after each use but thats a lie and that uhaul was very unsanitary and the transmission kept slipping to the point that it was jerking bad.
